I have Morphine Vials they are liquid and are 20 mg 1ml vials

Do I need to Do anything to it before I inject it? Is 20mg and 1ml going to do anything for me?
i have never self injected morphing before but I had morphine for 17 days when I was in hospital, I am taking it for 2 reasons pain and also the high you get from it.

i take other pain medication , Zomorph , Oramorph, Dihydrocodiene

No, morphine vials are ready to go. Just inject and enjoy.

As far as, will it do anything, yes, it certainly will, but will it get you high? We can't possibly know that without knowing you're tolerance.

Since you mentioned taking oral morphine, I say just start with 20mg IV and go from there. Please inject slowly(at least the first time) due to the histamine release. People underestimate IV morphine, but in pure form it's pretty powerful. Also keep in mind it had a delayed onset, so even IV it takes 20-30 minutes to reach full effect.

For reference, 20mg IV morphine is roughly equal to:

40mg oral oxycodone, 20-27.5mg IV oxycodone, 60mg oral (Chr) oral morphine.
 
Ok cheers lorne, I'm not sure my tolerance either. I was only getting 10mg 4ml every 6 hours.

i have never used needles before but got myself some insulin needles because there shorter but guess I will find out if they work.
 
Shit if it was only 10mg oral morphine, you'll be fucking feeling amazing off 20mg IV!!!

Remember that since they are vials, you could also inject SQ; IM would be better than SQ, but I doubt insulin syringes are long enough.

also I went to inject at 1am today and put the needle into my leg but when I injected a small amount it started to burn. Is this right?
only reason I ask is because I've never put needles into myself so was kinda worried I had done something wrong.

now because of that I have wasted 1ml of morphine. Which I feel bad about because I wish that 1ml was inside me giving me pain relief and that initial buzz.
 
Don't go in your leg man!! Inject into your arm way more likely to cause trouble injecting in legs and feet vs hands and arms
 
SQ is in the skin(subcutaneous injection.)

Don't inject into you're legs. If you have trouble finding vein, try SQ, there are guides online.
 
Oh ok. What's wrong with legs ? I just tried it in my leg because I could use both hands but I will try in the arm.

if I try in my arm and it burns is that ok? Why did it burn when I started in the leg?
