Opioids IV Morphine dose for a heavy Heroin user??

SWIM is a heavy heroin user of east coast heroin. SWIM uses about a gram a day 0.3 grams per shot 3 times a day. Each shot gives SWIM pins and needles and a good nod. SWIM has come across a full bottle of Morphine Sulfate Injectable 300mg/20ml (15mg/ml). SWIM wonders what would be the correct dose to mimic the same effects he gets from the heroin he uses. If anyone could help that would be awesome! Thanks so much!
 
Start with 100mgs and see where it takes you.

Out of the 300mg of heroin you inject it's not 100 percent, so I advise you not to try to slam 300 mg...
 
Ok cool. That's gunna be a whole bunch of liquid in one shot! SWIM is gunna have to get like a 7ml syringe!
 
Maybe boil it down a little? I've done this with morphine solution.

If you're shooting a lot of solution remember to go very slow and consider getting a butterfly needle , only way I roll over 2 ml's
 
Oh ok will boiling ruduce the volume? And the butterfly to make sure you stay in huh? Or so you can disconnect and refill?
 
Please don't use SWIM in your posts! (Against the rules).

And I don't know (which is why I'm asking)but does boiling not affect the potency or break down the drug with morphine?

both really, it's also to do with vein accesibilty for me, for big volumes go with big veins (which I dont have in the arms), , by refilling you mean like having 2 barrels prepped and switching? If so try sticking a band-aid on the "wings" of the butterfly and try to re-register to be sure / eliminate air pockets ( reregister with the empty barrel when there is blood in the tube , carefully connect the second rig)



Missmeyet morphine is pretty heat resistant IME, the temperature should be kept under 100 celsius , maybe simmering it down is a better way to go (granted this is not easy to with a small volume)

pj has good advice as usual...
pure morphine IV is typically stronger per mg than street heroin IV thats because of a couple things.
1. the heroin is not pure, probably closer to 20-30% on average.
2. Heroin basically IS morphine, the heroin turns into morphine in your body anyways. u are actually only "high" on the actual heroin for about 8 minutes. then its all morphine. so it makes them fairly similar in strength since most heroin isnt pure anyhow. sometimes that makes the morphine stonger, IMO pure morphine is almost always stronger than street heroin. for example 100mg of pure morphine is the equivalent of about 2-3 bags of decent street dope.

ive actually never been higher than i have off of pure morphine. pins and needles like a mofo. whew!
