IV Methylphenidate(ritalin)

How dangerous is IV use of ritalin? Assuming harm reduction measures are taken, including using new needles and clean cottons every time?
Also, use is not daily.

There are other nasties in those pills, hell, in most all pharmacutical pills there are nasty pill componets you don't want to put in your veins! So either keep this use to a VERY STRICT MINIMUM or extract the MPHD - guess what? There is a thread that covers this process -

I've IVed ritalin a few times I know it's full of nasty shit.. but well It was fine.
I know some people that are actually ritalin JUNKIES, this is in a place where meth is almost unheard of.They are all pretty fucked, physically that is, they all look like total shit.
I really dont like the feeling, it makes me squirm like i wanna get out of my skin , it's over quickly & even though I dont like it I want more.Yuk.

It's really not good to inject pharmacutical pills.. most pills contain things that pose no risk when disolved in your stomache, but while they may liquify in the syringe, they will punish your poor kidneys, and can lead to the loss of limbs ...
So yeah, I am not one to say I don't bang the ossacional Dilaudid or OxyIR, but it's not something I do more then once in a great while..
