IV methadone

I know theres no rush, and that I've told others to not IV their methadone. but I'm desperately sick and I know that it kicks in in about an hour if you do it IV instead of like 5.

how long is the duration of methadone this way? because I should be getting my morphine tomorrow and I want to make sure I can boot that and feel it.

btw, I'm not fully set on IV methadone just yet. just a thought, and I thought I'd ask about the duration of it.

The only time I IV'd methadone I felt it a lot quicker than an hour, though there definately wasn't a rush. I don't really recall the duration except I was still feeling it the next morning. I didn't have much if any opiate tolerance so that probably made a difference.

I know theres not a rush, I've shot 10mg before which was way below my threshold. but I'm getting 50mg today, but I'm thinking thats a lot of powder, although I used to stick a bunch of them 5mg roxis in a spoon. but those are smaller. I might just eat them.

would like a 120mg shot of morphine tomorrow around 1pm if dosed methadone now be felt through the 50mg of oral methadone?

Seeing as u don't have methadone built up in your body from repeated doses, u should be able to shoot through 50mg's pretty easily. It's gonna take a bit fatter shot then usual though.

Try to avoid taking the entire 50mg's, take 20-30mg's instead... I bet it holds u just fine.

well, it ended up not showing up anywayz, which is kind of alarming, because it had other items that may or may not be stinky in it aswell. and today should've been the day, maybe tomorrow. but it could be a good thing, since I got mail today, and my father made me open it in front of him, like insisted, brought me scissors and all. luckily it was prozac for my mother.

all methadone solutions here you cannot prep for IV, the liquid is to thick, and the pills gel up... IME you start really feeling the 'done effects orally from 1 and a half hours... if you're taking more han 40mg 'done i would wait over 24 hous to boo morphine
