IV Heroin ....WTF

Ok so today I tryed a new method of injecting my dope. My normal way is just mixing it in a water bottle cap with water then throwin a cotton in there and boostin it. Well today I decided to get a metal spoon, I poured my powder into it then I put some citric acid along with water I stired it and then heated it until it was kind of smoking but not BOILING. So I then put the cotton in and proceed to boost it.


Fucking sucking felt almost nothing not even a rush wtf ????
 
Why would you add citric acid? That raised the PH of an already acidic substance. If it's east coast #4, it's already pre-made for injection, so-to-speak. All you have to do is add cold water, stir up, draw through a cotton and you're good to go. Citric acid is only for #3 heroin (base) which is found in Europe primarily, and needs an acid to be neutralized for injection.
 
my only guess is that the citric acid combined with the heat from the lighter, both unneeded, probably ate up the dope and left trace amounts of herin in the soulution.
 
OP: Had you tried this same H with better results?

It could be the H itself...because it is strange you would feel NOTHING if you didnt boil it. :\
 
Dude why would you add that shit to your diesel? This is jersey. LOL yo, you doe fucked it up. I aint tryna be a dick but the reason ppl do that is becuz their shit aint ready for IV use, they dont get the same dope as us. Dont mess with a good thing that u already kno, feel me? Better luck next time. Dont heat your dope dude thats a bad idea it aint necessary jus fuck with what you know.
 
Heating up the dope can cause otherwise insoluble cuts/impurities to dissolve and pass through the filter you are using (ideally a wheel filter).
 
Im in Washington and on west coast we get black tar..
My question is can you put it in a spoon warm it up to dissolve,
Then draw it up in a syringe, and snort it up the nose..
When you do this do you have to filter it like you do when you shoot it..

If the dope you get is a base (meant for smoking) you need to acidify it to inject it. If it's already an acid (as most east coast powder is) you're just gonna make it more acidic.

Black tar is base heroin so an acid would be ideal to dissolve it. But I have seen it just dissolved by people then they shoot it. (cold shot)


for snorting it i have seen is dissolved in a spoon and water and the just snorted up with a pen tube. You dont have to filter though.

Also to the person who said that base heroin is primarily found in europe, it is pretty much the only h availible on the west coast and south west in the US. We also have tan powder that can be converted back to tar by just blowing on it lightly. It absorbs the moisture and turns back to tar.

No... most black tar dissolves just fine in water. Only #3 doesn't dissolve without acid, and they only really get that in europe... soemtimes over here though. The shit on the west coast is from mexico/colombia (I'm pretty sure, from central/south america either way) and even though it's tar, it is still #4 and ready to dissolve.

The tar dissolved in water up the nose works very well and no filter is required, my little buddy who doesn't shoot does that every time, I still do it too once in a while, it's definately better than sticking the chunk up there :)
 
I've brought this up before... by injecting citric acid straight from lemon juice there is a chance that a fungus can be introduced into your system where it grows on the back of your retina. Use acetic acid (CH3COOH, vinegar) but never use citric acid that is not made for IV use.
 
^ This is true, a friend of mine has lost the sight in one eye because of this.

Do we in UK have better heroin weight for weight? That is to say, if our heroin is base, say a gramme, and we add our acid on the spoon, is that not better than a gramme of heroin hcl, i.e. the gramme already includes the acid. Or is that like asking are kellogs frosties better than cornflakes?

base is more per definition but because of cuts i dont think we can figure this one out over the internet
