IV Heroin Harm Reduction

Quick lowdown on myself: I'm have an opiate addiction of 3 years orally(pill popping), 1 year insufflating, and 6 months intravenously. I have tried every opiate in the books and my current tolerance is iv'ng 1 8mg-1 1/2 8mg dilaudid every day. I have acquired some inherently very strong heroin and my question is how much I should try, I have never actually done heroin intravenously but have sniffed it countless amounts of time. Any tips on preparation methods for heroin either or is it the same as pills?
This is my last run on opiates before I switch to my backup supply of subutex abd hopefully kick this demon for good.

you have a decent tolerance, but BE CAREFUL heroin these days is cut with Fent which will fuck even the most experienced users up...

my best advice is depending on what u buy , if they sold it to u in caps, or what not... take 1/4 of the amount and shoot it and see how u feel, your really not waisting anything by doing small amounts...

so just start small and keep taking shots as u feel need

You can always do more if you do too little, but you can't take it out of your system if you do too much. Start small and titrate your dose upwards to get an idea of the dope's strength. Do this for every time you buy a new batch. Other than that it's pretty straight-up typical IV safety. Use needles once, clear area, rotate injection sites, etc. It's pretty much the same as shooting a pill but with less filters required.
