ive been ivin h for about a month now after sniffing it for about 3 years, and at first i was hitting the veins in the crook of my elbow with no problem but i used them too much n they r pretty banged out now ive been trying to hit any vein below my elbow or in my hand but everytime i draw blood back into the syringe indicating that ive hit one i wind up shooting the contents n missing horribly, ive wasted way too many bags already n i was wonderin if anyone had any tips or suggestions that might help me out...

Try registering again when you're half way down to make sure you still in the vein. You may be changing the angle of the syrringe or pushing it too fast. Is the needle all the way in when you draw back blood? IF not, you will miss more times then not. Can't think of anything else

I agree with NEW2NYC, I always used veins in my hands, wrists and forearms and they are easy to slip outta the vein with a littlke movement which is why i always registered twice and did a slow push in ,especially the veins in the hand, check and check again that you are still in the vein and push the plunger slower as the veins in the hands are smaller and it is much easier to slide the needle out or through the other side of the vein and easy to blow if the dope(heroin) is injected too fast...Keep switching injection sites and try to use new needles as much as possible , thats about all i know to say, except find a good vein in the forearms and use those first if possible, and check and recheck while injecting..

Get someone to help you out, you probably just don't know what you're doing well enough (sorry!). Like these guys said, re-register halfway through the shot. You really shouldn't need to though, the terrible burning sensation should be a good enough indication of whether or not you're in a vein.

This. If you've ruined the big veins n the crook of your arm in three months something is very wrong, I've been IVng 10-15 years and mine are still OK. I did however learn to shoot first with meth, believe me when you start to miss with that you will know8o8o8o
