IV Harm Reduction Question

I inject multiple 15mg oxycodone pills. I use cotton ball cotton for filtration. i plain on ordering micron filters very soon. i know the risk from only doing cotton filtration is that over a long period you can have the inactive ingredients build up in your body where they stay for a long time. but what is was wondering is if you are cotton ( or even micron filtering ) these pills, which are among the best pills for IV as far as the amounts and types of inactives they contain, and you are using safe and sterile injection techniques, aside from the obvious air embolism ( which many nurses have told me would take an entire IV tube full of air, more than 1ml insulin needle can hold, and not likely anyway cuz you can flick away the bubbles) and the obvious overdose ( not likelly with pills cuz you know exactly what you are doing and should know your tolerance ) and maybe hitting an artery in really bad way, is there any way you can just drop dead from doing a shot? i would think not, i would think it would just be the cumulative damage to veins from some of the inactive ingredients making it thru the cotton and micron filter. any answer to this will be appreciated. thank you

The wheel filter makes all the difference...

I was reading somewhere here, something about the stats of how clean it was, top of me head it was something like 85% compared to 30% just after a cotton..

Sterile water too of course, and alc wipes on anything you use to prepare, spoons etc.

Of course it is still possible to OD regardless of tolerance, combinations of drugs in your system, i.e too regular, or simply a bad reaction leading to heart attack etc. Everytime you push that needle up your taking a risk....but hey, that's what makes it so invigorating right?

My advice? Find another opiate to inject that's not so complicated to administer safely. High quality number four heroin is a perfect choice, and much less damaging to your veins.

Yea but i obviously wouldve done that if it were feasible for me. anyone know the answer to this question? its like the most basic harm reduction shot. " how can this kill me". besides an OD, an air embolism, or dying for heavy long term particle build up after 15 years of shooting pills, is there any other way you can just die from doing a shot, or does that cover it.
