Heroin IV H Trackmarks

Honestly, in the summer, a tan just brought out my tracks more, made the contrast in colors mors obvious.....I was a "highway worker" for 4 years....the slight pink.purple on whiter skin was better than on dark skin....I'm white with a naturally olive complexion....

^This.

It seriously destroys your veins to reuse needles. nyc - did you not notice my number one tip to avoid track marks and vein damage was to never ever reuse needles? ;) Even if you clean the syringe (which is not likely to fully sterilize it anyway) it's still going to wreck your veins and make it much more difficult for you to hit a vein.

Also thanks to the people who said I should get a tan to mask scars, it def does help but I live in a sunless place and am too lazy to go to the tanning salon atm ;)

Holy shit! I new re-using needles were a no-no, but I figure reuse once or twice what the heck!? But wow that picture has a really strong effect. I think thats why my shot last night hurt a lil more then usual....if the needle gets reused the tip gets dull and creates a bigger wound. Hmmm.

Thanks for help guys!! BTW we need a NYC H roll call, maybe have a meetup or something.

.......then again how fun would that be, every1 nodding off saying ,"uh, WHAT?"

LMAO

BTW is there a way to tell if a needles been used before ? I used one the other day and capped it back up and threw it back with all the clean sets. I'm asking a lot of questions I know but this the last one in this thread PROM

Asking a lot of questions is good! I wish Bluelight was around back when I first started injecting. The best idea in future is to separate your used syringes from your clean ones, but as to how to tell if you have them mixed together, it depends on the type of syringe. Lots of syringes come with little clear caps on the plunger, do your's have those? If not, you can pull back the plunger a little and look to see if there is a small trace of liquid or blood inside (or look at the needles and see if maybe there's a tiny drop of liquid on it or any dried liquid inside the cap or anything like that) - if so, it's been used. If you thoroughly cleaned and dried the syringe before putting it in with the others it's harder to tell...

DAMN 7-10 bags in a shot? You either have a MONSTER habit or your dope is garbage.

As for the track marks - Make sure to use a fresh rig each and every shot. Preferrably use a small gauge needle (29g-31g) 28 is even acceptable. You can buy them over the counter in your state and i am sure there are free exchange programs, so there's no excuse for reusing sets a million times.

Also apply some kind of lotion to the spots you're using, like aloe w/ vitamin E, or cocoa butter.

I don't see how that's a "massive" habit. up here in boston dope is sold by the half gram bag and the 10 gram finger in bulk. it wasan't unheard of for people to do 2 bags aka 1 gram in a shot, granted they had a tolerance and if an intolerant person did just a half gram bag it would definitely kill them. I'm assuming you're talking about .1g bags.

anyways, I used to use stuff called aquaphor leftover from my tattoos on my track marks, worked well.

^I'm from prov RI....and yeah, we get the 1/2 gs grams and fingers, and sometimes the dope up there is as good as NYC and Jerz...but TBH, the dope in NYC and Jerz definitely averages out to be better IME...If you get a bundle of good NYC/Jerz/Philly dope it could be a lot better than a 1/2 gram of New England dope, no problem....Dope is insanely cheap in Boston and Prov, and if you think about it doesn't really make sense unless the dope has more cut in it.....Most of it comes in from further south....

Of course sometimes you get lucky and get a crazy strong gram for cheap, all depends....

Even so, a 2-5 bundle a day habit of good NY powder is not all that uncommon....but in NE, a half gram a day habit is average....

So when you guys say "5-7 bags", do you mean .5 or.7? How many points (.'s) are presumed to be in a bag? I personally just get my black in grams or portions of grams. Is this just a colorado thing or is it like that most places?

Most people aren't weighing their bags; and the people who are have reported anywhere from well below to well above 0.1g

So just to have a clear mental estimate, when I read someone is shooting 6-7 bags, it could potentially mean they're taking anywhere from .3-1.4 grams realistically? Or is it completely varying from region-region/time-time? And is a "bag" what people consider 10-20$ and it happens to weigh varying amounts? Haha sorry for the rant of questions, but is there any mutual understanding of around what a "bag" is?
I men you say blunt and it's assumed to be .8-1.4 grams you know?

This is why I hate slang terms like "bags". I've brought this up on this forum before, but I really think it's better to use quantities of measurement like grams or milligrams. Even then purity can vary greatly, but at least it's better than saying a "bag" which can mean different things in different places. Where I live, for example, heroin can be purchased: by dollar amount, for example a specific $ [just not saying what it is since we don't allow price discussion] gets you a bag that is whatever quantity that the current going rate allows and quantity varies from dealer to dealer, typically somewhere from 0.04-0.1g and or/heavily cut; "points" which contain 0.1g (zero "point" one); and half grams.

Anyway I think this thread is getting off track (no pun intended ;)). People were surprised at the doses because they assumed the OP just started using heroin a week ago, but he already explained that he has been using heroin for years and only began injecting it recently. People can quickly build up a big tolerance/habit for a number of reasons, including when they already have a high opioid tolerance, use a lot because they are chasing the high, have plenty of money (or cheap dope), or have low-potency dope (whether they think it's low potency or not). Do we really need to obsess over how much dope the OP uses?
