Harm Reduction IV Fentanyl Question

greetings I am a new member and I have a question about fentanyl patches. I dont know if this is the right discussion board but I get patches for pain and im growing a tolerance. I tried cooking a small piece in a spoon as you would a pill and tried to inject. I got nothing from it and I dont think I got the drug to mix with the water....so what am I doing wrong? Sorry if this is an inappropriate thread mods, im just trying to be safe and get a educated answer from someone who knows better than me. If its too dangerous or to extensive of a process then I wont worry about it. I just remember seein people I know do that method effectively and it worked, but I do not know what im not doing right. Thanks

There is an extreme overdose danger when it comes to IVing fentanyl. I seriously recommend against it.

If you wanna get high off em, recommend either smoking them or chewing them. Method depends on the type of patch, and ofc dose depends on your tolerance. Should be a few threads about it somewhere on BL, ask if you need any specific info though, I used to smoke the mylans.

If you can, use them as directed. While chewing is effective, the dose-response curve for fent is MUCH steeper than other opiates.

I always smoked the Fent patches, the gel ones only. This was because my tolerance to opiates was beyond godly, and I still managed to OD twice. I was poking open the 100mcg gel patches, putting a pindrop on tinfoil, and chasing it.

I don't think I'd ever IV fent - it's to potent. If you're off by just a little, that could be your last shot. I'd wear as directed if you have anywhere near a normal tolerance or even a low abuse tolerance.
