Quick question...
My preffered method of drug administration is by far IV, and I was wondering if it's possible to extract the MDMA from Ecstasy in order to do this...
Personally I'm not too fucking happy too IV the contents of a pressed pill simply because of the variation in cut etc etc...
So if anyone can point me to an extraction technique for ecstasy it would let me check of another item from my "dream drug experiences to try" list...
I've been waiting to IV Ecstasy ever since I began my needle adventures, I can only assume it's potential benefit to the human psyche is multiplied by 10, it's be like getting a blow job from god or something...
Anyone have a clue if this is possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Actually I don't think anybody who has ever IV'ed Ecstasy has reccomended the experience to others. There is really just no point to it.
 
i asked about MDMA extraction in Discussion but nobody in that forum knows anything scientific.. a guy replied saying maybe an acid-base extraction could work.. i don't have the funding to test it out tho.. but it definately would be very cool to extract MDMA from a number of pills and get a nice clean powder (i'd do it if the yield was even 50%).
 
If your going to shoot MDMA, wouldn't the best bet to be getting hold of pure MDMA crystals?!?
I may well be wrong, but so far as I know the only problem with IV'ing a pill is the binders etc, right? Therefore, pure MDMA would be the way to go... Of course I have no idea what the availability is like over there in the good ol' USA...
 
Thankyou Stuffed... I do not 'roll', i do not buy 'rolls', i'm not even a fan of MDMA in any shape or form... However, here in Australia (At least in melbourne

Stuffed, have you never seen a bag of MDMA powder or gelcaps filled with the powder? I have, here in the states, and they aren't that hard to find. If you wanted to inject, you would want that so you don't have to worry about all those pill binders.
 
stuffed is not ignorant. the fist pill he ever took was a molly. but he is smart enough to recognize the fact that what gets sold at molly powder is 95% of the time ALSO cut....making it not pure powder...
 
well doesnt MDMA have a specific melting temperature where all other substaces that it was cut with melts away before the pure product does??
 
I'm not making MDMA a harder drug by injecting it, I'm making MDMA a BETTER drug by injecting it....
And if I can find an extraction method (which it looks like I can't) I can make it safer by assuring I am only consuming MDMA and not anything a bit more harmful, DXM, speed, etc etc...
But if you've already been brainwashed into an anti-needle frenzy, like many people, then I doubt there is anything I can say to alleviate that...

and about that "harder drug" comment...
no drug is bigger and badder than any others, its all about proper usage (or lack therof)
people who habitually pop aspirins are no better than those who habitually pop benzos and are no better than those who habitually shoot H, etcetera..
please quit believing the myth that ecstacy is "more okay" than other drugs.

In my experience, and yes, I have tried - there is really no practical extraction when it comes to getting the MDMA out of the pill - why? Well, MDMA isn't soluable in anything you would want to inject, and you have SO MANY differn't fillers/binders being used in the pills...
Look for powder and you will find it.. forget the pills, but IMO you shouldn't even bother..
And the "hard" vs "soft" drug argument ENDS HERE!

I have heard from a couple different people on seperate ocassions, individuals using vinegar to break down the binders in pressed pills, and also seperate the cocaine hcl from the baking powder in crack (both for injection). This is not a suggestion, it is a question. It seems that vinegar could have acidic properties capable of this. But I am sure that mainlining even a small amount of vinegar could lead to some nasty blood infections if not worse. Has anyone ever heard of this or know specifics on how this might work?
 
Method of ingestion is very important when determining the hardness of a drug in my mind. The only reason is because there are more physical risks/side affects when snorting, smoking, or injecting than with oral. Even if you are dealing with pure compounds there are more risks injecting. I completely understand that all drugs/drug users are equal, I just wish people wouldn't take such big risks when there aren't that many benefits (in the case with mdma). I need to shut up and sleep, its 5:20 goddamnit!
