Hello everyone, i am newly registered have been lurking reading post for quite some time now and i decided to finally give posting a shot. I have read every post/comment on BL about IV dormicum(Midazolam) use but still have some questions. Swim has aquired quite a few blue 15 mg dormicums, they expired in 2005 but still have pronounced effects. I have tried sublingual ROA (crushing pill up and dissolving powder under tongue) as well as rectal ROA (dissolving pill in water and using syringe to plug up bootyhole) but it just does not give the effects of IV midazolam which swim has had during light medical procedures. Swim has never IV'd any pill before so i am looking to clear up some questions on this. From what swim has read on BL midazolam is water soluble but only to a certain extent as the PH of the water has to be adjusted for the midaz to be fully absored. I believe i read that a PH under 4 is wanted to be able to have multiple mgs of midazolam per ML of water. So heres what swim has come up with.
Swim will began by wiping the blue coating off the one 15mg dormicum with an alcohol swab.
Next swim will crush up the dormicum thoroughly.
Then in a sterile glass vial swim will add 7.5 ML of distilled water.
Swim will then adjust the PH from 7 to about 3.5 with powdered citric acid.
Then Swim will add in the crushed midazolam and stir until completely dissolved.
Swim will then filter this solution through cotton first then through a .22um syringe filter.
Then swim will store the vial in a safe place. If swim does this can he expect a solution that is 2mgs midazolam per 1 ML of solution?
Also any advice on how to not leave track marks swim has never IV'd anything before. Thanks in advance. Also swim realized that a solution of 3.5 PH is really acidic and bound to burn however swim plans to dilute the 1ML of solution with more distilled water once the extraction is complete before IVing.
