Harm Reduction IV complication: can't strech arm fully or touch site

Hi.

I know there are a lot of posts out there talking about IV complication, but this is a first time to me.
Few days ago I injected 4-FA and/or H.

Now, today, and since yesterday, I can't fully stretch my arm otherwise it hurts.
The injection site looks fine though a bit swollen: we can't see the veins running that we usually see.
If I touch, there is a slight ball/lump but really slight, and it hurts because I touch.

It is near the crook of my arm.

2 questions: why does it starts hurting a few days after injection ?
when should I start freaking out and go to a doctor ? Will a regular doctor (GP) be useful or will I be straight sent to A&E ?

I've been in A&E for shit with my ears the last few days and don't want to go through all this shit again.

My arm is feeling slightly warm and is now a bit swollen/red..

My GP is closed today, is it bad to wait until tomorrow ? (it started yesterday).

Please help, I am freaking out.
 
OK so I moved my ass like a responsible drug user, left work, and gone to a GP.
What seemed weird to him is I can't stretch arm.

He put me on antibiotics (amoxicillin) but isn't sure it will work.
He also gave me advice to lay some sheets with 70% alcohol on it to help it heal from time to time.

He said I might get surgery ?
What are you guys saying, please, I'm desperate, just was in hospital this week don't want once again.
 
Please share experience for harm reduction I'm in paib can barely move arm wonder how long before i go to a&e and when to go.
 
I can better move my arm, it's not been 24hours I'm on amoxicilin (antibiotics) and I'm getting better.
The scare is not getting worse.
I seen a GP after all I'll do what he says: if 48hours not better then I'll ok.

What kind of surgergy and time to heal are we looking to ?
I should be signing for a work on the 12 !!!

Ahh right doctors orders, good ( not being sarcastic in this case they are clearly on the money). What does signing for a work mean? I assume it means you are going to start work? Get with my suggestions about herbs, they have a synergistic effect with the antibiotic. As with any drug or plant medicine you take, always research medicines dangerous to consume along with you other meds or drugs (contraindications).

Are you a immigrant working in the UK by chance?

Please don't inject subtances without micron filtering them. If you do this again and ask for help you'll get it but NO sympathy. Take control of your own health. Taste your dose of heroin by dripping a small amount onto your tongue( using the same amount of water always). if it tastes more bitter then usual use less or push Much slower. Great way to never wake up dead from shooting opiods ;) The stimulants are dangerous by nature but as I occasionally do them as well I can't say don't, just don't expect there to NOT be adverse or fatal reactions.
 
Signing for work means sign contract to work long term first time.
I slept at hospital yday and got sliced today.
They fear thé infection expands to m'y heart so i will get further checks.

It was also stupid to re use needle Im sûre it was that.
They removed a bunch of dirt trop arm.

On phone sorry for typo thanks all for help and i'll take more care and try to get more into work than drugs.
 
By thé way they dont sell micron filtres un France asked many times they juste have cotton like filters for cigs. It comes with each IV kit.
 
Yeah don't reuse your needles :) This will make scarring and misses a higher probability, but if you are in a situation where you know you're going to want to reuse it, wash it with a 5050 bleach solution. I used to wash em out directly after with peroxide and then fill them with bleach and let it sit for 30 mins. The highest standard (and what you should do to use the safest you can) is of course a fresh rig and cotton for each shot. Cotton fever is disgusting and results from keeping your cottons after exposing them to water or high humidity.

Here in france we have IV boxes:

It costs 1 euro and there are even 24/7 shit that sells this (along with condoms).

I think every country should have this.

If I re-used needles, done shit that night is because I was out of my head, sad, and just doing shit in general I was not caring

I will still IV from time to time (done 25mg Morph this morning for pain for absess (even if virtually no pain))
