iv coke vs. iv crack

if you were to break down crack for iv use would the effect be the same as iv coke? as far as i understand crack is just cocaine treated to make it easy to smoke. does that mean once it is made into liqud it would pretty much just be cocaine?

The only real difference between IV crack and IV cocaine is most likely the purity and amount of injected substance and the amount of solvent (more solvent = slower injection, most likely).
When you use some acid to dissolve the crack, same time you turn the purified crack (aka. cocaine freebase) back to cocaine salt. In the blood both cocaine and crack are in same form, regardless of form injected. Thus, most likely explanation for differences between these two forms is that the amount of injected drug varies.
