Background:

Experienced snorter
IV'd once before, in fact the previous day. Got a bell ringer on one shot that . No freight train sound but would classify as a bell ringer. Described as 'wah wah wah', and not too scary an experience.
Not the first shot of the night
Same coke.

So, they push half wait about 15-20 seconds, and push the rest.
After the half, experienced fleeting, like 1/2 seconds, sounds like the bell ringer before from the previous day. After the next half they get the shakes. They could talk, and the shakes were not full on full body violent convulsions. Just arms, legs. Significantly greater taste sensation, than former ringer.

Shakes went away after a few minutes.

Described as 'Quite Scary'.

So how close to an OD was this?

Any similiar experiences?

If someone gets unpleasant effects (beyond the normal side effects), they've taken too much, so they have 'over-dosed'.

Are you asking, how close was this person to a medical emergency?

That's hard to say. Depends on the age and health of the person involved. Anywhere near an emergency is too close IMO. It's not ALL that hard to OD from IVing coke to the point where a visit to the ER is necessary. Advise this person (you?) to be very careful with IV coke!

i think thats pretty close to OD'ing. i had that happen to me after taking a fairly large shot. i shot up, then as i was walking my right leg started to shake, but it stopped after a few seconds.
