In my head
I certainly know the BLUA by now, and I know this could be considered non-HR, but on the other hand I think it would be in the interest of HR, and I think you will think so too if you read on.

I wish to try IV cocaine. Cocaine is not by DOC (which would be opioids and benzos), but I'm going to try it anyway. As a matter of fact, I bought cocaine today for approx.<snip>. I dunno how much coke you get for this in the US, but I got perhaps 200-300mg (not very pure, obviously). I injected all of it earlier today and got no significant rush. I stirred it in sterile water and sucked it up in the needle thru a cotton ball so as to filter away most of the bacteria and impurities.

I then made sure no air was in the needle and proceeded to inject it into the a vein in the crook of my arm. I didn't register, but I did not burn at all when I pressed the plunger, suggesting I was in a vein. I didn't, however, get the slighest rush, even though a minor amount of blood appeared when I pulled the needle out.

I didn't get any abcess either. I have previously (years ago) had more experienced users inject cocaine, which I assume was approx. the same quality, into my veins, and I definitely got a rush there. Would this be due to the quality/quantity?

And to answer how this relates to HR: I am definitely going to do this again, I am a very stubborn person and I want to succeed, but at the same time I want to be safe of course. Therefore I would appreciate it very much if someone could explain to me step for step how to inject it.

If it is in the wrong forum, feel free to move it :)

no prices allowed, you might wanna edit that out before a mod has to come in and do it.

I would think you likely had very unpure coke, what size shots were you doing? How well was the coke dissolving in the water, completely or with pieces of white floating around?

Sounds like incredibly impure coke..like total garbage actually. And, you said you didn't register? So you didn't know if you were in a vein but just pushed down anyway? You also said it didn't hurt, but it really wouldn't because coke immediately numbs your entire arm when missed, even if it's just a few drops. If you didn't even get this numbing effect, which you probably would have mentioned in your post, you didn't get good coke..might have not even been coke hah. Even if it was shitty you should have felt something as far as a high if you were in fact in a vein, or numbness if you weren't.

There is no point to not registering. You should always register, just to make sure you aren't pumping your load subcutaneously.

Not registering is just a sign of a very misinformed and very new IV user.. It is the most basic aspect of IV drug use there is.. Not only is it dangerous but a total waste of your drugs as you are going to most likely miss all or most of your shots.

I am new to this, and I don't want it to become a habit. Sorry, I forgot the price thing. And yes, it was probably very impure coke. I'm pretty sure I was in a vein though since I did in fact get a VERY slight rush. I tried to register but couldn't manage (well a little blood showed but not nearly enough I gather). If it is allowed I would like for someone to write a quick guide on how to do it :)

use a tourniquet. belt, old bike inner tube, but the best is an actual medical one as it is really easy to use, and release, and cheap. wash the area with soap and then wipe the spot you're going to inject with an alcohol swab. put on the tourniquet tight, but not too tight as this could also affect the arteries preventing blood flow to your arm. push the needle in at a shallow angle, (the bevel should be facing up) pull back on the plunger, a little blood should poof up into the syringe. if it doesn't, try again. if it takes a few tries, you should probably backload into a new syringe, or replace the needle if that's possible, to prevent vein damage from a blunted needle. when you're sure you're in a vein, release the tourniquet (with a medical one i push the clip with my chin whilst still holding the syringe in place and it pops off. it is important to release the tourniquet before injecting as otherwise the pressure could damage your vein. inject slowly. pull out the needle and apply pressure to the area with a cotton swab or something, to prevent bruising.

Thank you very much. One thing bothering me though. I find it very hard to pull back the plunger to register when the needle is in my arm. Which fingers do you use? I put the needle in my left arm and push the plunger with my right hand's index finger. But when I try to pull the plunger I use my right hand's index finger and middle finger to sort of 'push' the plunger back into it's original position. How do you register?

Is there nobody that could show you how to do this first hand? When you're learning the basics of IV'ing, it really helps to have an experienced user there to guide you and develop your technique.

When I register, I use my thumb, middle finger, ring finger, and sometimes pinky to hold the barrel. That leaves my pointer finger free to navigate the plunger up and down to register and inject. Try it that way, it gives you much more control over the syringe.

How do you register?
