Cocaine IV cocaine binge

Hi everyone.

Recently i bought some dope and coke after years of almost avoiding iv, and done three or four speedball yesterday thinking i could control the situation, given the sort of control that i more or less have on oral and plugged opiates. Wrong.

I'm almost at the tail of a IV coke binge that started this morning at 10:00 am (it's 19:00 pm now), i went through more shots than i can count (surely more than ten during the whole day), and my arms are fucking horrible, and still i have to find other at least five sites of injection to finish the evil powder and close this horrible and degrading shit.

Anyway, i have some questions:

- Do i have to worry about all the cut i'm shooting? The coke is really clean and powerful, and everything dissolves, but what about the infamous levamisole? What risks does it carries, and what can happens in case of poisioning?

- As my shots get bigger and bigger to counteract acute tolerance, i start to feel unconfortable, i can't stand really straight, i'm like sleepy (not in a downer way, more like "i'm collapsing way"), can't quite understand what happens around me. My heart beats faster but this coke is not rough on the heart. Anyway my father died at 40 for a cardiac arrest, so maybe i'm more in danger. What are more or less the signs of a coke overdose? Dose it effects the heart or its more some kind of sizures? I'm not saying i'm having one, just to know if it means i'm dosing too high.

Sorry for the questions, i've never binged like that on coke alone, i'v always been more a downer guy, i'm surprised to find myself in this situation.
Thanks.

maybe you just shouldnt finish the coke. why not save it for the next day or some other time, i mean do you have to be on a coke binge if your not an addict???

levamisole is being used less and less in coke because of the ill side effects it causes with repeated dosing of cocaine...

I seriously doubt you have to worry about that now...

I would seriously just freebase the coke if anything and shoot the dope... Given the repitition you must follow with cocaine I.v. and the “giving a shit” about sterility will be out the window, i highly advice not doing it...

Coke overdose is your breathing will be very rough, and you can convulse... Your heart will cringe and flop...

Just don’t overdo it and you will be fine.

At pbmaster23 - You are right, that would be a normal approach to the facts. But we are talking of IV and of an incredibly reinforcing drug that lasts nothing. I could lie to you, but i will finish all the coke i have. Maybe i will stretch times between shots a little from now on, but i don't want coke around after this and do not want this shit to happen any day soon, it has really crashed all my thoughts on the degree of control that i thought i had on drugs (though, i knew that IV was something else...) and did it the hard way: a whole day closed in a room shooting coke...oh fuck.

Snort it and be done with it. Controlling IV cocaine is extremely hard for most people. After your next shot, break your needles and toss them. After every shot I'm sure you have 15-20 minutes where you feel perfect. Break them during this period and it should be easy.

Are you still shooting dope as well? You don't need us to tell you the dangers of doing so.

And yes, family history of cardiac arrest generally puts you at a higher risk.

No, well, i do still give attention to sterility, of course i cut corners sometimes, but in not going to reuse needles full of blood or picked up from the corners of my room. I have a lot og 31g needles.

As for freebasing, i've never done it and the amount is too tiny now to attempt, like 250mg. Snorting is out of question, sorry that i have to tell you that.
I think i'll do a shot of dope before bedtime, and yeah i will definitely toss my rigs away tomorrow, as i have always did after stuff like that.

Anyway i'm feeling a little better than when i started writing, but you know how cocaine works...paranoia...

What you need to worry about is a pattern of behavior.. it sounds like the questions in your post are just a result of being tweaked and paranoid and you're missing the real issue. You're developing a very serious addiction. Binging like that is not a good sign. Plus IV coke is terrible for your veins.

no one can shoot cocaine long term and still be functional member of society, i know for a fact death will occur...that shit is very dangerous, esp to the regular addict who doesnt come on websites on these and learn harm reduction. its hard to tell huge differences of purity by look, taste or smell, and if the addict shoots the same amount of a batch that is way purer but looks the same as the old batch, there is a 1st class trip to the county morgue..be careful people

Seems like no one ever answers a OP's legitimate questions around here anymore. If you're an IV coke user, it's pretty silly for someone to suggest you "just put it away for tomorrow" or "snort it". That's just not going to happen!

Cuts can be a problem and cumulative. While I agree, the risks from levamisole short-term are minimal, you should always filter well and use a wheel filter if available.

With regard to your bigger shots, the "rubber legs" and "heavy feet" sensations are familiar to me. If you push a fatter shot, you are likely to collapse and lose motor control (fishing out) for an indeterminate period of time. This loss of balance with flailing arms and legs is a minor seizure. While you remain conscious, the loss of mobility and body control for up to 20 minutes can be pretty scary. Any more than that and you are in grand-mal seizure territory.

While I am sure you are finished with the 250 mgs. you had left when you first posted, I hope you have had time to relax, put your run behind you, and give yourself a good rest before attempting again.

Have fun. Be safe.

The quote I put in bold is something you really need to reevaluate and look back on when you're sober. That is very dangerous thinking, and exactly the kind of thought pattern that has turned many users into addicts. The idea that you should just do it all and get it over with might work in theory, but in practice the fact is that you are extrremely likely to acquire more and more and more and more.

In regards to your questions, people seem to think that because there are no visible cuts left in the spoon that it's automatically pure/extremely high quality. This may be true, but it may not. A lot of dealers will cuttheir product with something water soluable due to this common misconception.

I don't think levamisole is a huge risk anymore, though I may be wrong. I thought that was more a thing of the past?

Your second question is definitely another paragraph to reread when sober and thinking clearly. If you're at the point where you're by your own account "uncomfortable", you need to STOP.

And a family history of heart problems almost certainly puts you at a higher risk.
