IV bupropion - Experienced - did it purely out of curiosity

I crushed a 300mg ER bupropion (Voxra brand by GSK) and prepared two shots (150mg each) using 2,5ml/cc syringes with 2ml water in each since bupropion preparations are pretty caustic even when diluted. I've taken 2mg aplrazolam and just popped 1mg more so the seizure risk should be considarebly lower than with out benzos.

I slammed one of the syringes (150mg dose) and experienced a short intense rush which was quite surprising and now i can certanly feel bupropions effects clearly which not the case with oral use. It definately is a stimulant just like all the other DNRI's are. It's not super potent but it exceeded my expectations big time. Maybe this is due to passing of first pass metabolism which usually converts nearly all of the drug to hydroxybupropion, which is almost purely noradrergic. So in practise this a different drug altogether than if consumed orally.

This is not nearly as recreational than coke, meth, (dex)amphetamine or even methylphenidate. I have no plans to keep doing this as it's just not as fun. The effect with single 150mg iv dose is bearable but the initial rush took me by surprise. I've heard if keep shooting these up you'll end up in an highly unpleasant stimulated state with heart pounding like crazy. I also have to into account a relatively heavy benzo dose (3mg alprazolam) is smoothing out this experience for me. I got a strong gut feeling that without those xannies this would be quite bit more unpleasant. That i will not try (this without taking benzos beforehand) as getting a seizure isn't on my to do list. The injection felt corrosive af but was still managable to finish at pushing the plunger at steady and reasonably slow rate. This compound take by this route is obviously quite prosexual and libido enhancing, like all dopinergics tend to be. Not even close to meth or MDPV but it's present there and will enhance your libido. I can see why they call this poor man's coke or meth. It doesn't hold a candle when compared to those compounds but it wasn't nearly as bad as i thought. I will make sure i don't pick up a habit of this thing but i can see people binging on this when bothing else is available and they're desperate enough. If you decide to take part this practice be sure you got benzos to take alongside with iv bupropion and you ashould actually have more than you assume to be needed so you can overpower this compund with benzos if you start to freak out or yuor heart starts pounding uncontrollably.

At least i know what this is all about and i don't have to experience it again. meth and amphetamine IV:ed is what i like and this didn't come close enough to it. Can't recommend this to anyone. Remember you're doing it at your own risk.

I decided to slam the second premade syringe without wating to the effects to subside. The rush wasn't as strong as it was in first time. I should have done the whole tab (300mg) in one big fat shot despite the concentration of solution would had been double and obvoisly more painful and corrosive, which would had been surele exessively damaging for my veins. But i know better to not take rísk of dosing high a compound with no idea how body gets along with it. The stimulant feel is even more obvious not even close meth's crystal clear cogniteve function and razor sharp decision making ability, when you're able to make decisions purely on rational basis ignoring anything emotional. This alpraxolam's i got might well be bootleg. They're fucking strong and migh not actually be even alprazolam. What is sure is that they have some benzo and it's dosed fucking high. I think i shouldn't gone over two pills. They taste bitter like alprazolam does but a little too bitter. It¨s like there's something bitter added in them so they pass ass alprazolam even there might a totally differen benzo in them together. Maybe i should care but i really don't coz they get the job done damn well. 1 more and i'm in the blackout territory. As i got some tolerance this shouldn't happen with 3mg alprazolam. It could be that the thirs 1mg ksalol (should serbian aprazolam pills) i took just killed the effects of the second shot.
Take it as you will. Hope someone gets discouridged by this stupid deed of mine and decides not slam bupropion.

No im not. It¨s just has unhealthy feel to it. We get sterifilt specials filters from our needle exchance. They're desinged for filttering the solution made by dissolving pills in water. They aren't quite as good as the 0.22 micron wheel filters but they are very good indeed. I tried it on many pills and i always get crystal clear solution in my syringe. It gets clogged up by high viscosity gels but otherwise it represents harm reduction at it's best.

Almost 12 pm now where i live and i hate feeling tense at his time. Ended up shooting to 2 more mgs of buprenorphine and popping one more alprazolan tab (5mg taken now). Definately what not what i pictured before doing this. Now I'm feeling pretty awesome (due bupe and xanax) but i fucked up my plan of using reasonable amount of downers today fucking up the taper ove done this far. All this for something stupid and an impulsive idea wcich i proceeded to do straight away. Does it work? Yes it does. Is it fun? To me iv rush is very intense experience but it isn't euphoric or even hardly feel good. It doesn't feel especially bad either but i see no reason for putting this much strain on your body for something that you can feel it takes toll on yuor body it¨s rough and hardly enjoyable at best. If you are stupid enough to try this (like me) be sure to excessive amounts of downers to spare. You will need them no doubt.

Thanks for the report LoV. I also found bupropion mildly stimulating, but would honestly only take it by choice if there's almost nothing else around and I'm desperate. Even modafinil is better ime

Definitely isn't worth risking this stuff for recreation imo, even if you can filter it well, given the notoriously high seizure risk of IV bupropion (and/or from higher oral doses), and especially if you feel in any way compelled to use more than you intended.
