IV Benzo Habit

I've really went off the deep end this time. I've been IV'ing etizolam for the past 4 months. With doses ranging anywhere from 2-8mg several times a day. I also suffer from a serious heroin habit, but What I really want to know is the fact that I'm IV'ing and not using them orally make the detox that much more dangerous? I'm guessing it would, but I am seeing a Dr. in a day or so to assess the detox. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

No, the detox from etizolam isn't going to be worse due to the fact that you IV it. All you're gaining is an extra 7% bioavailability from IV'ing it, the oral BA is 93%, so yeah...it's actually really pointless to IV etizolam

It may not make the detox substantially more dangerous but it sure is more dangerous itself unless you get it in pharmaceutical, pure, iv-able form.

The dosage you're at is real high... assuming you're getting pure product and are dissolving it properly.

You'll need to do a taper to avoid possibly having horrible rebound anxiety, or seizures, or a plethora of other highly unpleasant side effects. I'm sure your doctor will help you through this.
