I've recieved no treatment. They aren't chronic and usually come when I'm using heroin and smoking cigarettes on an empty stomach. I'll get a sour stomach but one or two times I threw up black stuff. Might not have been an ulcer but according to web MD thats what it sounded like

dude, you need to get treatment rather than shoving alcohol up your ass. there are many ulcer medications on the marker, prilosec is even over the counter now although its pretty expensive so youre much better off going to a doctor and getting a prescription if you have any type of insurance. but your condition may be totally treatable, what these medications do is reduce the amount of acid your stomach produces thereby providing a more favorable environment for healing to take place. a few months on one of these medicines, while obstaining from alcohol (and you should quit smoking too) could fully heal your stomach.

i hardly ever, ever drink. An accurate estimate would be once ever 3 months.

what symptoms do you get from drinking then? really bad stomach pain? because even if you have an ulcer, drinking once every 3 months really isn't THAT bad (well i guess it depends on how severe your ulcer is, if its a bleeding ulcer then you dont want to drink at all).

the ulcer only comes when I've been using drugs. otherwise It's nonexistant. I just hate drinking alcohol. It's gross, it makes me throw up. I want to get drunk without chugging ass juice

If you want to keep being able to shoot dope, drop the whole idea of shooting alcohol. It not only burns as I'm sure you're starting to find out, but it damages veins permanently. The only safe way to shoot it is to dilute it. Because of that, you would have to set up an iv to get an amount to make you drunk. Seriously, if you value your veins, don't waste them on this!

it's painful to read this... if it's really that necessary to get drunk, the most effective way is by first taking benzos then drinking a beer or two. the cross-potentiation is pretty massive taking it with low tolerance to the combo and brew is not very likely to cause ulcers unless you're drinking a lot of it.

Take OTC Tums and see if that works, if it doesn't then use Prilosec, also OTC.

Also try eating a light meal before drinking and snack on non-acidic foods throughout your carousing.


I take Prilosec and drink copious amounts of alcohol with no problems, my father does the same, no bad results.

In desperation i've IVed diazepam dissolved in Gin (40mgs dissolved in 2mls).

I've also injected xannies and k-pins dissolved in vinegar eaven it fucking burnt like hell. I had start taking washbacks of blood in middle of the injection 'cause the burning but i could taste the clonazepam in the back of my throath..

And i'm not proud of this...

I had my IV alchohol experience described below shortly after Kandy-K's and I can confirm (regardless of Splatt's opinion) many of the effects she described. While I did not notice long-term vein hardening, there was the usual inflamation (thrombophlebitis) that caused the two veins I had hit to feel very hard all the way up to my shoulder for a few days. Additionally there was significant pain associated with the experience and well as some bleeding as described in my earlier post quoted below.

Yeah...I had one run at IV alchohol and ended up IVing 300units (3mL) of anhydrous ethanol with about 2mg of alprazolam dissolved in it before I felt drunk/fucked up. No way it was worth the fall out...I still have migraines from it to this day and occasionally my vision blurs out like it did after my last IV alc shot. Not to mention that by the time I was done there was an unusually large amount of blood coming out of my body (coughed it up, pissed it out, bled from the corners of my eyes, etc..).

PS. I did the 300units in two 150unit shots out of a 3cc syringe.

for me drinking is bad on my ulcer, i get the pain the next day which is why im trying not to drink at all right now. however, if youre going to drink with an ulcer its essential you do these things:

- take antacid first, ive read h2 blockers actually reduce the damage alcohol does to the stomach mucosa.

-have a god amount of food in your stomach, drinking on an empty stomach is what started all the problems for me.

- never drink anything stronger than wine. anything 40% alcohol or more is reeks absolute havoc on your stomach. even if your stomach is still perfectly healthy, i still would not recommend drinking large amounts of hard liquor regularly without diluting it.

i saw an interview with like some famous rocker (might have been tommy lee) who said that when he was coming down off a buncha coke he iv'ed some jack daniels and never got an infction or anything. It is definatly possible tho as u said dangerous. I have no idea as to dose, sorry

It was Tommy Lee, him and the whole Motley Crue used to do it when they ran out of drugs.
