IV Alcohol & Xanax. First Time. “I told you I liked needles a lot”

My opinion? The deeds done in this report were extremely foolish and nothing that anyone should ever repeat.

However, I think the level of hatred, or at least strong, strong dislike, shown by several in this (and other) threads towards Psychubus/Kandy K is disturbing and kind of sick.

Just my opinion... but since I'm a moderator here, I'm going to request that anyone who feels it necessary to make personal attacks either not do it, or take it to a private form of communication.

Ethanol is commonly used in hospitals for many things including used as an antidote for methanol and ethylene glycol overdose/poisoning. Shooting vodka is not necessarily dangerous if done in a proper dosage, but I would not recommend it. I once had to revive a dumber guy who was so high he drank ethylene glycol (antifreeze) and was unconscious. Not having ethanol on hand, I had to use vodka (grey goose) to save his life. Once he came to, further administration was via PO (though I would have kept him on IV if I had source to other IV equipment other than 1CC's. It's a normal alternative for ethanol substitution (Although this is usually done in animals as the drink antifreeze more than humans, but it is also used for alcohol WD's).

you can IV the two together, but it's not the best thing for you. It's only done to prevent something else. my .02
 
Folks, you want an alcohol hit FAST without shooting? Buy N-propanol. It's 4x stronger than ethanol and is no more toxic (less in fact, it doesn't screw the liver). If you drink 25ml of it dissolved in a cola, your pissed in 10 minutes flat. OK, your sober again in 90 minutes, but N-propanol is the crack of the alcohol world. Oh, and feel free to search the net for fatals with it. There is only 1 recorded. The reason that isopropanol is so widespread is because that DOES poison you...
 
The "n" refers to the fact that it is a straight chain propyl group, rather than branched (iso-propyl). So its structure would be:

CH3-CH2-CH2-OH


I'm having a hard time finding any evidence of human trials, though.
