ITS ON! christmas CD swap: the aftermath

EVERYONE: hey hey, im organising a smaller CD swap for those who didnt get into the original 'pod' of CD christmas secret santas....
so if you want in, PM me your address by tuesday 20 december... they might be a little late for christmas, but its just if you still want in...
 
posted mine today also but as it's headed all the was to WA i doubt it'll make it in time for xmas.

skwirrelle mine's not very random and i made two!!

i tried to make one but the first one got all filled up with hip-hop. i guess some may consider the second one random but still, all the songs are in the
same(ish) style of music.

The first one I made was basically just a from my sisters most recent playlist but then I got a hold of some stuff she was listening to about a year back and some of it is pretty strange... the rest is really dodgy, but it's a laugh :)

I still havn't sent mine yet. I'm very slack I know but I spent so much time designing the front cover and the back cover and the sticker for the CD that I forgot to buy a blank CD. I will buy one today and send tomorrow although I have a feeling the person I got wont like my taste. Ahh well.

^^^ Oh.... you didn't tell us that! I've written "SLM's Mix TAPE!" in huge letters on the front of my recipient's :D

(I don't get the secret Kriskringle/Santa thing.... I think it should always be revealed in the end)
 
i was having this conversation with people last night - IMO it should always be revealed at the end who the SS is

other wise it's so freaking annoying!

and yes the postmark's would definitely give you clues.....esp from nippon ;)

Ha ha ha no he wrote love Pillsnapper on the back of the envelope but if that hint didn't give it away I think I would have guessed from the Japanese stamps.
 
I just got the wickedest CD... sorry CD's, from someone! No silly dance music, all really cool stuff, I am really stoked and looking forward to finding out who these bands are apart from the ones I already know. Dale was very excited to see Mr. Bungle, Foo Fighters and Tool on there!!

Someone went to a lot of effort. thankyou my "admirer" :) :) :) :)
 
People are all arty and stuff and did designs etc?? Whoah... I kinda wish I was more creative now ;)

But hey... I sent mine off in the mail today... should arrive sometime... I dunno... hopefully before christmas though :)
