Its Bing! Great site with lots going on. My particular area of interest is cannabis breeding. I consider myself a "amatuer medicinal marijuana breeder" I am interested in better understanding the endocannabinoid system as it relates to strain variance and targeted breeding. I am also interested in any sequencing work that has or is happening around the cannabis genome. I would love to conduct genomic surveys on existing and potential new strains.
I have also conductedl trails with human subjects as it relates to methamphetamine treatment protocols I authored (random assignment double blind). This work was a multi-site study that included UCLA DARC, Matrix Institute LA. It was also a publically funded study that was awarded by NIDA/CSAT. I worked with some amazing researchers. I can only hope that the interagency cohesion that existed during our project finds its way to yours. Its hard to believe that the actual NIDA scientists conducting the research are in anyway affiliated with the drug policy making pot blockers. Every single one of them i met would default to real science....bummer,
but if there is anything I could do to aid MAPS efforts, please dont hesitate to ask. If your looking for SoCal research nodes....
