It's May

Marry when the year is new, always loving, kind, and true.
When February birds do mate, you may wed, nor dread your fate.
If you wed when March winds blow, joy and sorrow both you'll know.
Marry in April when you can, joy for maiden and for man.
Marry in the month of May, you will surely rue the day.
Marry when June roses blow, over land and sea you'll go.
They who in July do wed, must labor always for their bread.
Whoever wed in August be, many a change are sure to see.
Marry in September's shine, your living will be rich and fine.
If in October you do marry, love will come but riches tarry.
If you wed in bleak November, only joy will come, remember.
When December's rain fall fast, marry and true love will last.

Well my first marriage was in May, and aye it did surely rue not just the day but 7 years :\

My 2nd marriage was in October......aye, that might be true too! lol

Are you a Lepracorn Don? :p

Nope, I'm a Leprawheat ;)

Ceres is correct. I heard this on Radio Ulster today. However, it actually refers to the mayflower (hawthorn bush)blooming and not the month :)

Found it. It's quite shite as I wrote it a long time ago but it'll give everyone a good laugh lol :)

Damn good job I saved the entire contents of my personal website and never lost any stuff..... The joys of ws_ftp ;)

here goes (please remember this was written over 14 years ago lol so it's bound to be shit ;) )

MAY

It’s May, It’s May,
What a lovely, lovely day,
Where the sun is beaming,
The grass is shining,
The deep blue sky uses its magical spell,
Filling happiness upon human souls

It’s May, It’s May,
What a lovely, lovely day,
Let’s dance, lets sing, lets laze around all day,
Getting tanned, bathing in the pool,
Water fights, iced pops,
Doing anything to keep cool

It’s May, Its May,
What a lovely, lovely day,
Patients is awarded, as May is upon us once more,
Awakened to the natural sound of the birds,
Hearts feeling a little lighter,
Outdoors becomes more interesting and serene,
And tasks are often kept till later on

It’s May, It’s May,
What a lovely, lovely day,
Flower buds have opened,
Trees growing, some re-gaining their natural colour,
Grass being cut, giving out its natural scent.

It’s May, It’s May,
What a lovely, lovely day,
As each day ends, sunset follows on,
And what a sight it is too,
With its burning colours of beauty,
The breeze of a light is soothing,
Casting a spell of peacefulness within,
Here, experienced, is the magic of MAY!
