OK I'm a bit confused.

You want a catch phrase and a bsns card made. But a card can't really be made until after the phrase is decided upon. IMHO the phrase should be one contest and then the card should be another one. They should each be given a month to ensure enough time. Say, for example, the winning phrase is decided upon 15 April to allot time for the card, but then 28 April someone comes up with a new phrase. Then the card designs need to be rebuilt and made in two days. It seems like having a month allowed for each would be the best thing. But maybe I'm reading this wrong, and, after all, it isn't my contest ;).

Bob loblaw, it's not hard to change a bit of text on photoshop, & it certainly won't take 2 days.

I Can understand you htink it'll come out a bit sloppy, but unless the catchphase goes from 1 word to 20 words it's no biggy.

I hope to get a couple of designs in soon.

Is the term 'rolling' used in Aus or is it just an American thing? Might be wise to shy away from such slang if it's going to confuse the message but I'm not Australian so I don't know ^^

Edit: Are there any high res images we can have for the bluelight logo or better yet the source file for the logo?

Edit 2: or just the font for the text?

Adam, Its a good point regards the word rolling but thats OK because we would use the best suited to a particular area if there is not a universal one.

Im not aware of any images other than what you can find however I will ask around for you.

Ah cool cool thanks for that. Until then I've improvised a high res logo, I wasn't sure if it needed the pill capsule or not if so let me know and I will try and put it in somewhere.

Since you mentioned printing in Aus I used the standard business card size for over there which according to wikipedia is 90mm X 55mm. However if any of my designs win I'll be more than happy to edit them appropriately.

Here my first attempt:

Specs:
  • Front and back design
  • 300DPI
  • 96mm X 61mm (extra 3mm added for bleeds)
  • 5mm 'safety zone' (inside of 3mm trim lines)
