and i need to get some sleep soon......

i take temazepam, 30mgs at night time.....

I just have a few things to say, and a few things to ask......

For one, benzo equivalency charts are useless....

The reason behind this, is that benzos have different properties that range in efficacy but with many properties shit becomes confusing....
..
For instance, on bluelights equivalency chart says that 20mgs of temazepam is equal to .5mgs of alprazolam, which is true for relief from anxiety, but it isnt true if you are looking for euphoria or somnolence ...

KNOW WHAT I MEAN???

Okay anyways, i recently have experienced an odd kind of tolerance....
It seems like sometimes the temazepam will make me tired, sometimes it fails...

Thinking about moving to something stronger...

I read that hypnotics cause daytime anxiety....

And counter intuitively, you need to get a longer lasting hypnotic to lessen these effects......

Taking in all the information, including toxicity, i have decided to quit taking the hypnotics......

But until then, WHAT IS A STRONGER BENZO THAN TEMAZEPAM????

Thank you

I have never gotten anything but sleep from temazepam, for which I found it extremely effectove and light on the side effects besides feeling groggy if I didn't have enough time to sleep. I have never found a better drug for insomnia but I also took it fairly rarely.

If you're looking to taper off benzos, diazepam/valium is a good one to use for this due to it's longer half life and higher dosage equivalency. Like it's easier to drop your diazepam lower since it comes in doses like 5 or 10mg, whereas things like xanax only range from like 0.5-2mg. Diazepam is also good for anxiety since it is longer lasting it will build up in your system overtime and lessen the rebound anxiety.

If you're not looking to taper off benzos and just want something "stronger"...I reall wouldn't suggest going to look for something stronger with more side effects when you're having trouble already with tolerance and rebound anxiety from the temazepam.
