Its been 1.5 hours and lsd hasnt hit me?

Youre not supposed to put it ON your tongue youre suposed to put it UNDER your tongue. Look in the mirror and lift your tongue up and just look at al those lovely veins everywhere. The substance goes straight into your blood from under the tongue and bypasses further processing in the stomach and organs. Some substances (like Xanax AKA alprazolam and a brand of methadone pill I had) dissolve super fast under the tongue and start to hit you near instantly versus waiting much longer to feel.

Acid should have a metallic taste when you put it under your tongue. Keep it there for 15 minutes then swallow I definitely start feeling alerts in the 15 minute to 30 minute range especially if Im eating a strip. There is some tense anxiety on the acid comeup, and you may clench your jaw abnormally. Ride out this first hour or so of anxious comeup, weed works wonders for the comeup, then as the 2nd hour progresses the Lucy should just wash over you.

Acid should NOT have a metallic taste! It does a very slight , almost un perceptible chemical taste but most times I've dropped LSD (at least 30 times) I've hardly ever noticed any taste.
The NBOMe's have such a strong metallic taste that it is difficult for me to keep NBOMe blotter in my mouth for the 30 mins. It's one of the worst tasting chemicals ever (25i &25c)

Acid is not exactly the most predictable substance known to man. The first time I 'tripped' was incredibly subtle, but the cunt I got if off was never a good source, tbh.

The only time dosing is going to be predictable is when you have a quantity of LSD that you've already sampled.

In my experience, even blotters from the exact same batch are capable of providing quite variable experiences.

^^ That's certainly true, but set and setting and temporary tolerance has something to do with that, I think. I haven't done acid in a long time but the vials I used to get were pretty very predictably mind-blowing. That was around 1998-2003 though.

My first experience with LSD was with weak blotters. It took about 2.5-3 hours till I felt something. I can probably identify the feeling much earlier now if I were to take that same dose because I know what feeling to expect. The come-up is subtle and as an LSD novice I wouldn't be surprised if you weren't able to feel anything until it became overtly obvious.

I haven't noticed any differences between the two routes in terms of potency and onset, perhaps OP bought NBOMe blotters that aren't active orally
