Its been 1.5 hours and lsd hasnt hit me?

Ive never done acid before, but I took one hit of really good stuff that i know is real, but i havent felt anything after an hour and 30 minutes. I kept it on my tongue for 20 minutes then swallowed it… I had a small pasta dinner.. I dont want to wait any longer for it to kick in because Im tired and want to go to sleep.
HOWEVER what if it kicks in later while im sleeping? is that possible?

sorry for such a scattered question, but please answer asap!! :)

"Really good acid" doesn't take an hour and a half to take effect, you either got ripped off or didn't get LSD.
 
do you feel hot and cold at the same time or any other bodily sensations out of the ordinary

ive had half a tab and only felt minor physical changes nothing visual and not really anything mental, its likely that your tab is very weak or been exposed to light and air too much
 
i know its good acid because my friend took the same as me and was tripping balls after 30 minutes… I just dont get why its not doing the same for me :(
 
My tab actually was exposed to light and heat all day because I forgot to take it out of my pocket. And yeah I have a slight body high but nothing else.
 
Okay I’m definitely thinking my tab was affected by being exposed to too much light. Damnnn :(
 
What happened after 1.5 hours, did you trip at all?
I am still not 100 percent convinced a few hours in your pocket could do that much. I might try sticking a hit in oven or microwave and see for myself how much it effects it.
 
Nah it's transference the trips hitting me...

All I have is questions storage, potency, is it acid, others done these "trips", tested???? Questions no answers I'm afraid but I'm tripping hard from the transference... that and Talamasca.

It was more than likely bunk.
LSD is sensitive to degradation in comparison to other drugs but it's not as sensitive as people think.
I have taken acid left in a hot vehicle for a 3-4 weeks and it was perfectly fine

I beg to differ, long ago I had an decent supply of very high quality white blotter, it's the only acid we could get back in the day and it is still regarded as the standard to which all my friends who got to try it hold any new acid we may find up against. On one occasion (tolerance was in no way an issue) it literally took 5 hours to kick in.
These white blotters usually gave the first alert within 15 mins but this one time nothing for 3 hours so I laid down and took a 2 hour nap only to awake tripping fucking balls!!
I have long suspected that LSD has a more complicated mechanism of action (or at least there's more going on than most assume) than we realize.
Every other psychedelic is pretty consistent for me but acid is more of a roll of the dice then any other material.
 
It took me awhile the first time but i can't remember how long because I was so distracted by awesome boobs

i was 15...
 
Are you taking any anti-depressants? Some people experience a less intense trip from SSRIs. I would agree with most the posters that you might have gotten some bunk acid...sorry

- Over the years I have had encountered folks who no matter how good the cid, the first time just did not work for them
I don't know why or have a theory, Im sure some of the scientific psychonauts will chime in
but I can say from experience this is most likely why, your tabs will not degrade that quick

My first time I lost my face

Also - I'd give it a couple weeks before you try again

Well I've noted this with other drugs as well
But my first time doing LSD I got high as kite
 
Well I took the acid at 11:30 pm last night, and it is now 1:40 pm the next day and it never hit me. My friend literally took the same acid as mine and it hit her, but didnt hit me. So I really dont know. Im gonna get acid from a more reliable source in a couple weeks and try again though
