So I have never blogged before but I can't wait to start! I am a single mom studying Chemical Dependency Counseling :) So I have to be so professional all the time and little do the all know I am struggling dearly with my own problems! Can't wait to hang out and chat ..... Looking forward to making my first
friend ;)
 
P.S. I want to put a pic up but can't figure out how... Any advice..... That last post was too nice .... I am not that nice lmao
 
If you get the direct link of an image that is already hosted on a particular website then you wrap the link in the IMG code that will look something like this picture.jpg[/img ]
Make sure the picture ends in .jpg, .gif , or perhaps even .png
Also make sure there are no spaces within the brackets. I had to include a space so that it wouldn't think I was trying to post an image.

imageshack.us or tinypic.com will help you upload a picture if you don't already have it from some other website.

This is a link to the blogs section. Where you would tend to post things in a more journal-like fashion. (The link can also be seen at the top of Bluelight.)

If you're looking to start a conversation or get peoples input on something, then finding the appropriate section of bluelight to post it in would be what you would want to aim for.
 
Which section is it that you're trying to post in? There are a very limited amount of sections of bluelight that are closed off for posting & used as archival records.
 
You should most certainly be able to start a new thread in there. What kind of error message is it giving you when you tried to make a new thread? You've clearly successfully done it in New Member Introductions. So are you sure you've gone through the same motions?
We will get to the bottom of this, I promise you :D
 
Hold on I will check I know it keeps telling me you have to read this first and I read it but there is no boxes to check in agreement or maybe I just don't know what I am looking for let me go find it again real fast
 
I went to the dark side clicked on favorite quotes thread and I scrolled to the bottom and this is what it says

You may not post replies
You may not post attachments
You may edit your posts

Above where you're reading the "Posting Permissions" there should be a box that says "quick reply" and further above that on the left a button that says "Post reply." Using these features should not be holding you back from submitting a response.
 
I don't know what changed but I had no problems that time thanks for helping out the new girl :)
 
you want to help me with one more thing and I won't bug you again for awhile ..... well maybe
 
At the top right of Bluelight click on the "settings" link. On the left you will see a menu and within that menu you should see an option that says "Edit Avatar." From there you can either paste the link to the picture or you can upload it directly through Bluelight and it will resize it for you.
This is if you mean your avatar (Which is the small picture under your name when making posts)
