It'll be like a soda can shook up........

My little brother is going back to war.

I hope I can handle this one better than the last..........but I don't think so.
I was more afraid for him to go to Afghanistan than Iraq and now he's going to Afghanistan.
I'm going to try to hold off on my initial freak out until he actually goes. We have some time, so hopefully I will see him before he heads out.

 

Our forces are quite skilled at what they do. Although I am not a proud American, I believe that our military is the best in the world in pretty much every aspect. I am certain that he will be safe, ocean.

Maybe try to focus on the statistics that are in his favor as opposed to the one-off situations that bring soldiers to harm?

Right, statistics show more guys come back than don't, sure..........but only 20% come back without PTSD or something else wrong wrong with them.
But yeah, I appreciate your positive thoughts and kind words
