Heroin Itchy swollen veins after shooting up (Pics included), HELP!

Registered here to ask this. I'm having a weird reaction to some stamp bags I got earlier today, and end up with swelling after every shot. Starts to slowly go down is less noticeable within 15 minutes but it's still pretty disconcerting.

What's going on here and should I be concerned?

Edit: Should also note that the lump on top of my hand near my thumb is somehow from shooting in my wrist...

Not sure man, if it was after every hit than i'd say it's not from misplacing the needle (unless you're new to this or bad at it) but, i will say its probably a allergic reaction to something they cut it with, i'd check with a doctor if the lumps don't go away in 24 hours... sometimes that stuff can cause permanent damage,
 
It went away after about 2 hours. Still a bit worried because it seemed worse after the second shot than the first. Don't want to keep pushing my luck but don't want to waste dope either.

Admittedly I'm relatively new at giving myself IV injections, but I've never had this happen before with other batches. This is my first time using east coast dope if that could have something to do with it, we usually get black tar around here. I'm not cooking it, just dissolving it in water, filtering, and banging. Is that right?
 
Is it tar you're getting the lumps from? if so idk, but if it's powder than id suggest bad batch. maybe your water to tar ratio isnt good for that batch it might be denser
 
Nah, never had a problem with tar, it's the powder. Think it's safe to finish my bundle?
 
Never used needles, mainly because I have tiny, rolling veins.

Wasting dope is the least of your worries...hope you don't get an abcess, man. Are you better now?
 
Yep, completely gone now. Mainly worried that it will get progressively worse or something, but I could just be paranoid. Hoping to hear from someone who has experienced the same thing.
 
Welp, third shot had no swelling at all, so I'm gonna chalk it up to poor technique on my part. Probably was at too high of an angle and nicking the bottom of the vein or smth.

Please be carefull I live on the East Coast and there's bad batches often, especially with powered. Be Safe, be smart, be high
 
I know if its god dope i will welt up. I am allurgic to bees and such and I know if its really good dope and a little leaks out i welt up good.
I actually lok forward to it.
