My drug history looks something like this.
85 -87 some hash and cannabis whenever i could get it. Mushrooms were actually a lot easier for me to obtain as I lived in Sticksville.
1990 was my main hash year when i went to uni and for the first time had abundant availability and easy access to hash.. In fact I could not avoid it as I got in with a group of big time stoners, which was not a great move for me in some ways, as this ended up wrecking my mental health although things had started off great. The amazing blissfull highs that I so loved in the early days did not last and Hash ended up making me paranoid, anxious, and scrambled my brain with out of control hectic thoughts. Hash was ruined for me after that. Unless it was high CBD and also involved benzos to chill my mind out.
92-94 the speed years. The comedeowns and following days were brutal but being on the stuff was great. At that stage I had no inclination to even consider constant topping up, and was disciplined with my usage.
2011-2016 the legal high years.
I tried so many different ones, but Benzos, Mephedrone, Odt, Kratom and GBL were my favourites. Amazing fantastic substances. AS much as I loved GBL I never came close to become addicted because my behaviour was so out of control i could not take it regularly without severe consequences. Mephedrone was banned before I could develop any serious habit. Kratom i loved, went through many cycles of constant use, addiction, quitting and then rinse and repeat. Gutted by the ban.
After the 2016 legal high ban in the UK I used that Spanish vendor with the ever so discreet and clever packaging. That meant a lot of MDPV and other more rare or novel research chemicals. I didnt enjoy most of those substances as much as the first batch of legal highs in the first half of the decade, but they were cheap and so very easily available.
I was also getting all sorts of stuff off silk road by that stage.
If it was possible to have that time all over again I would do it all over again in a heartbeat, with the same substances, the highs were amazing. But with hindsight and foreknowledge I would be aware of the pitfalls and would have been able to navigate things more successfully with less problems and mishaps etc.
TLDR: 2011-2016 were awesome drug years. I threw myself headlong into a prolonged orgy of drug piggery, and all completely legal. Incredible. How on earth did that happen. No complaints mind, obviously.
