Amidst all of the furrowed brows and glaring eyes I resist the urge to join in. The melee of desperation and helplessness. It's so easy to give up and say, "All is lost!!!" I refuse to go that direction. I will not give into the passionate cry to fold my arms and spit blood.
Spitting blood on the blackened remains of something that seems of no importance, this life.
I wouldn't waste my time being angry and angstful against this world. I wouldn't waste my time and energy. So, should I then be apathetic and unmoved, as the giant redwoods in northern California? Apathy is never called for. I can care without interveening in your situation. I care, because you are falling to your death and ruining yourself. All the while you cry out, "What is the problem? Why me!?" Have you stopped to look into the mirror recently and objectivly realized who you actually are?
Are you really that nice, happy person at your core being? At your essence are you pure and undefiled? Are you controlled by your passions and lusts and unable to deny yourself when it comes down to it? Deny yourself.
Yet, do not deny that you exist and have a purpose. Or do you *want* to do all of those indulgent things? Are you *ok* with doing whatever it is that pops into your head? Maybe just a few easy-to-follow guidelines?
Still don't know what's ruining your day? Still don't know what's causing you to stumble again and again? Still can't pinpoint what it is that brings you down?
Let me suggest, perhaps it is those things you pride yourself on that are brining you your pain. Is pain fun for you? Do you get off on it? Eventually people decieve themselves into believing that they do enjoy pain.
Isn't that de-evolving?
Not that I believe in the theory of evolution, but isn't pain (mental and physical), a reaction to something tangible? And don't we have that adverse reaction in order to keep us from doing that tangible something?
Just a thought.

you always leave me speechless, without one word to say. You have such a way with words, literally.
You are brilliant, and i truly believe it.
Just a thought ;)

There is so much power in your words. Whether you mean it to be there or not. ;)
