I'm not sure if this should go in OD or trip report, but here goes...sorry....

For the past few months my brother has been smoking a blend of strange herbs that someone is making. They are spraying some kind of chemical on it that they are ordering online, but wouldn't really tell my brother what it was. I guess so no one else would order it and produce some "competition".

I was skeptical about the whole thing. He has been trying to get me to smoke it with him, but I have not been interested in doing so. For one, I want to know what chemical is being sprayed on this stuff.

The herbs smell really good and produce a pleasant aroma when smoked. I begin to become interested when he started to get it for my father. My father used to be a big pot smoker, but had to quit due to new random drug testing policy at his work. My dad said he would much rather be smoking real marijuana, but this stuff was producing some very similar and intense effects of THC. I trust my father so my interest was then peaked om trying this.

I tried it out today finally. I have not smoked marijuana since January 2009 and since this chemical does not show up in drug tests, I decided "what the hell I have nothing to lose".

My brother rolled up a joint. I dry hit it. It tasted very pleasant, but nothing like weed. I had an urge to get some real weed right then, but decided to go ahead and try this. He lit it up, hit it and passed it to me. I took a good hit and it of course did not taste like weed, but had a similar vibe to it. A few minutes later effects began to come on. It felt very much like a cannabinoid agonist like THC. VERY MUCH.

I was wanting to laugh and was giddy, eyes felt dry, cotton mouth, was slightly euphoric and became quite talkative. There were some negative effects as well. I felt a little nervous and paranoid, yet relaxed. THC effects me in a similar way.

Any idea of what chemical is being sprayed on this mix of herbs? All I know is it is illegal here in Kentucky now and the guy who blends the herbs has to order it online from Indiana. It feels very, very similar to THC. I was skeptical at first and thought my brother and father was getting placebo effects or just a weak relaxed buzz, but I swear to you it felt like THC. The high lasted a little shorter than with marijuana (THC, etc). Perhaps it is a synthetic cannabinoid agonist? I wonder what it's name is?

I still prefer weed of course, because it's the original, but this is very interesting to me now.
 
how do you not know what it is, yet know it is illegal in ky, yet not in indiana? if it is based soley upon what you are told you know as much about its legality as wut is in it... pretty much nothin.. it cud be sprayed with thc for all we know if that is even possible lol, you gotta give us more info or like send someone a sample(I dont think they wud let u do dat on here lol), but based upon wut you are saying it seems you know nothing other than what they want you to, and granted someone may be able to come up with the compound it is sprayed with, there is nothing we can do to help really other than go thru a list of whats illegal in ky but not indiana u feel me. unless we get some type of info it wud be verry hard to guess anything at all about this matter. Sorry I cudnt help you figure it out tho, and fyi, I wudnt be smoking something unless I had an idea of what it cud be cause god knows what this substance may be, lke those fake E pills and shit or pipes, it may very well be worse for u despite not showing up on a drug test, and how sure are you even it does not show up?
 
BEEF, the guy who is making this stuff and ordering the spray said it was illegal in Kentucky, but still legal in Indiana. A friend of his in Indiana orders it for him.

Vendor he ordered it from online mentioned it does not show up in even the higher panel tests. That's all he would tell my brother. I find that shady, but it appears to be safe and it producing effects very much like THC. So it must be a cannabinoid agonist. And these effects I got were not placebo. I don't know. It's so confusing.

By coincidence, my brother has an 11 panel drug screening tomorrow so I will know in a few days if this chemical is going to cause a false positive for THC or any other drug because it is all he has been using.

I am not sure if I will use it again, but it was very interesting. Felt very, very much like THC. Again. I'd much rather have THC, just because its well, THC.

Spunky, thanks for that source. I guess it's possible this spray could be any of these many synthetic cannabinoid agonists. I hope I can find out which one it is.

I went on the hunt and did some research trying to figure out possibilities and this seems to be the most likely. Or another JWH.

Very interesting that it is available as a spray. I laughed at my brother for smoking this stuff at first. Especially when he was buying something called "Mr. Smiley" over the counter at a gas station. I told him that shit is not getting him high and it most likely wasn't. I doubt an over the counter product would have contained a synthetic CB agonist.

Then he comes across a guy that is making this stuff. A mixture of fluffy buds from plants. Don't know what they are, but we know that damiena (sp?) leaf is included. And then the guy sprays it down with this chemical stuff. You are right, it is likely one of the JWH. Because whatever it is, it has to be a CB agonist. Feels too much like cannabis to not be.

Effects do not seem to last as long as those of cannabis (thc, etc), but they are almost identical. Very strange.

How safe is this JWH stuff?
 
its not really sold as a spray, but you can make it into a spray. theres all kinds of directional videos on youtube to show you how to make your own "herbal incense".

but what you do is you order the pure powdered product, and its just a white powdered substance. and then you dissolve and blah blah blah. but the most popular one right now, and the one thats quickly getting switched to illegal status in a few states is JWH-018.
 
^ But they are acting as CB agonists, right? It amazes me how much it feels like THC and the other cannabinoids found in cannabis.

The high is almost identical, but shorter lasting.
 
correct, I know JWH-108, and there is a JWH-250 I think is the number, that are definitely designer cannabinoid, but I think all the JWH's are cannabinoids.
 
yeah a few friends have tried this "spice" and say its legit it gets you pretty fuckin stoned

There are shitloads of JWH cannabinoids (not all active) the numbers go all the way to 398. 015, 018, 073, 081, 200 and 250 I've seen offered commercially. There are also cannabinoids which are outside the jwh series.
 
This is cool.

I still prefer THC and the other cannabinoids from real cannabis, but this product being made with synthetic CB agonist is great for someone who can not smoke cannabis at the moment. I could smoke if I wanted, but I really don't need to until I find stable work, but every other day my brother has been sharing this stuff with me and it's quite enjoyable. We agreed that cannabis itself is smoother and better, though.
 
yeah, I think its great I got a script to all this stuff now that I can't work and don't have to worry drug tests. because I've even got a script to that Dronabinol, which means I can smoke weed and fail for THC and still be ok because I have a script.

how long legally could I say "I have a prescription" for that of a drug that showed up in my system. say I had an old empty script bottle to percocet, and I failed a drug test for oxycodone, how long legally could I use that excuse, I've heard a year.
 
Quick question to anyone who may be familiar with this compound, do you think I'd have any negative affects from it?? Lemme specify what I mean, I've been smoking bud for maybe 5 years no prob(well I mean did kind of become skitzo bipolar so maybe it lead me twards pschosis lol), but about a month and a half ago I came across some hasish and smoked maybe an 1/8-1/4 over 2/3 days... during which I noticed my throat would get like closed up and itchy, and then I noticed everytime since I would smoke bud(not hash just like sour piff arrie kush etc..) my throat would act up and I would get like hives on my lips... If I stop smoking they die down and go away, but if I smoke even like 3 pulls itll come up again.... So I dunno if all dat hash induced an allergic reaction to thc or weed but everytime I go anywhere near bud smoke I get irritated and this kind of sucks since weed kept me calm and helped me sleep n shit, but Im not beat to smoke something my body disagrees with u know even if its out the blue something within me is not agreeing with cannabis/cannabis by products... so what I would like to kno is do you think Id still get those adverse side affects(ie hives n closed throat) from what ever chemicals u niggas usin as oppposed to regular bud??? Cause I mean without bud I find my self more prone to nightmares n shit as well as difficulty sleeping, I would really like to try this shit u niggas talking about with similar affects but hopfully no side affects as I have seemed to be getting thru weed.. What u niggas think??? Not smoking bud kinda have me on edge u kno and Id be interested in this shit if it wont get me irritated.
 
hey, if you wanna try some stuff like spice i wouldn't recommend it only because all spice is, is incense. nothing special haha. its expensive though. i live in Orange County, So Cal and its like $30 for a G at smoke shops. i did it once and wasn't to fond of it but thats just me. At the time i was blazing a lot :) i've since stopped smoking bud cause i got a 42-10 (drugs on school campus or high at school or on school property) <- i had bud on me and was faded haha. but anyways i considered smoking spice but they just made a test for it where i live but its expensive so i dont expect to be seeing it anytime soon. but i haven't smoked weed since i got caught on like June 7th. and no spice either. i dont know i posted this but i did haha. but i suggest you find out what that spray stuff is because thats sketchy haha but thats for you to deal with. haha good luck! (btw spice is a waste of money and not worth it! haha)

Spice is useless unless it is "drenched" in these synthetic cannabinoids.

I just smoked some about 2 hours ago and was feeling great. I'm still amazed at how THC-like it feels. I wish I knew which JWH is included in this batch. My brother's friend makes it. Like I said, I laughed at my brother for smoking this stuff. Looked at him as being desperate for a buzz since he had to take a drug test yesterday. Thought he was just smoking legal, useless herbs.

But no! With this synthetic cannabinoid sprayed on the product (which is just a mixture of various herbs, damiena being the main one) it is pretty cool!
