"The IDF provides new details of yesterday’s tragic incident in Gaza City’s Shejaiya neighborhood, during which three Israeli hostages who managed to escape Hamas captivity were shot dead by troops.


According to a senior officer in the Southern Command, citing an initial probe, the incident began after one soldier stationed in a building identified three suspicious figures exiting a building several dozen meters away.


All three were shirtless, with one of the figures carrying a stick with a makeshift white flag, according to the investigation.


The soldier, who believed the men moving toward him was an attempt by Hamas to lure IDF soldiers into a trap, immediately opened fire and shouted “terrorists!” to the other forces."

How many "isolated cases" is coincidence? Oh boy, some of you folks have lot of trust into IDF and Israeli government, and it seems to be mostly rationalization. "Surely they must act in good will"

Until Israel sends me or my country a letter explaining their rationale, i'm just assuming they're violent douchebags hardly better than the muslims, because that's what the situation appears to be at face value. Cheating their way into having a country in the midst of muslim misery just because an old stupid book says it must be right. This is not serious human conduct. It's all bullshit.

Jews seem to do well in New York City.

To think there must have been criticism of this dumb Israel project all along... Even within the jewish community.
 
Actually many jews seem to be doing well in Israel too. Many of them have hostile mindset towards their government. Just like in any country.
 
Their reputation would be 10x better without the failed revival of their sacred nation

Are you saying Israel isn't situated in the arab world or that there wasn't a displacement of other people for the creation of this state? Both of these seem like uncontroversial facts to me.

Is the word "cheating" a bit strong perhaps?

"They" didn't "cheat" their way into anything. The land was given to them by the people who controlled it at the time. And it was based on a historical precedent not a religious one.

I know Britain controlled it. Does that really change anything?

Did they have to do what they did? Did it pan out well? Was it the product of reason or old religious ideals?

Religion is deeply intertwined with history. Letting go of this hopeless Israel project is one example of removing the yoke of old superstition.
 
Both jews and muslims still use the word "infidel" casually.

Your claim makes zero sense in multiple ways. Why would the IDF intentionally kill Israeli hostages and even if they did, how would it be "genocidal activity"?

It was clearly a terrible mistake that the soliders in question will likely never recover from making.
