Stimulants Isolating d-amp from racemic

Anyone know if it's within a laymans ability to isolate d-amphetamine from racemic? I hate l-amphetamine.

As far as I am aware, there's no way that the average Joe could easily separate enantiomers.

Seperating enatiomers is well within the realm of the average Joe.

The general method is taking amphetamine freebase, forming a salt with a chirally pure tartaric acid, & crystallising one of the enantiomers as a tartrate salt from alcohol - the other stays in solution.
