Pretty good thanks! Celebrated one month clean the other day and I'm starting to properly get my life back on track so can't complain :) how about you?

It's great pay even for London and another big studio to go on my cv too, even if I end up hating living in London. I have loads of friends there already too, and I lived in central Frankfurt for most of last year before I got sick so I'm used to the big city life - despite my rural origins ;)

I ended up going out anyway heh, just took it fairly easy on the booze, had a good night last night and a good day today too. Early night tonight though, although I'm in a different b&b now above a pub and it's well noisy, hopefully they'll be kicking out soon.

Yeah I had a 5 and a half hour keyhole surgery about 2 months ago. Still have one more surgery to go in 2 weeks time, should be a bit shorter than the last one. I seem to bounce back ok from them though, but it's a bit of an unknown entity with how long it'll take me to recover and be ready to start this job. They seemed to be ok with that though, willing to let me start when I'm ready. I've not worked in a studio or anything like full time hours (just bits and bobs of freelance) since I got sick 12 months ago so it's going to be a shock to the system regardles!

Oh, you haven't lived in London before, then you must try this experience, it was mindblowing for me ;)

Thanks. Hope to be fully recovered in 4 or 5 weeks this time. I wonder if maybe it'd just be better to tell this new studio I can't start till after Christmas though. I'll chat to them on Monday, see how I feel then :)
 
id love to live in a big city like london or paris or berlin. in the better parts of town ofc, i realize big cities have really bad neighbourhoods as well...
