is xanaxting addicting to you?

only time i use it is to get to sleep after a stim. but i feel like i wanna keep popping becasue they wear off quickly, i looked forward to the heavy body feeling and just chillin out not givin a fuk. just curious your dose and possible redose...is this a sign of addiction? i havent done a stim in a while i rarely use xanax, just sits around for times like tht

try Valium then, way more relaxing properties and lasts waay longer.

xanax is very fast acting but has a short half life. tends to hit you hard and then wear off quick. kinda like crack. so yeah, xanax is more prone to creating a dependency than say a klonopin which has a much longer half life.

addiction and dependence are two different things though. a sign of addiction is when your use of the drug causes harm in your life but you do it anyway. or when you feel a compulsive desire to use your drug of choice and can't stop yourself.

Compulsive use is certainly a sign of addiction and as 14 grams above me aptly pointed out, due to alprazolam's short duration and potency, its both quite addicting and more rapidly produces physical dependence compared to other drugs of the class.
