On the xanax's bottle that i have it's written to not use the drug after 90 days from the opening. So,as the title says,is xanax still active after 90 days ? (properly stored,of course)

Yes, I still have xanax that's over a year old and it seems to be just as effective.

yeah, it's still active.

whoever put that on the bottle is a f'n moron.

I had some Mogadon (nitrazepam) pills not too long ago that expired 1988. They still worked just fine, the alprazolam will surely do it as well.

Just copied a random statement from somewhere on the internet :D:

"There wasa study where diazepam ampuoles were kept in come condition (I can't remember if it was ideal or unideal because the article is now blocked without a journal subscription), but they stored with very little loss in potency IN A LIQUID SOLUTION for 10 years with very little degredation..."

Yeah they should be good. Honestly, most medication stays good pretty far past whatever the discard date is on the bottle.

What they were getting at, is that they are strictly giving you a short-term supply of benzos. It has nothing to do with the pills expiration date, I have never heard of ANY medication having a shelf-life of like 90 days after opening...
