Kinda hard to compare a psychedelic with a roll.
While some psychs give you euphoria, it is not a given. You don't want to trip without being in a really good setting, like at home with your favorite music playing and no stress or interruptions. Or perhaps hiking out in nature or something.
The fun of psychs is psychological stimulation; at lower doses you think a lot about philosophy and it can be very introspective like rolling. The difference is that when rolling the introspective always has a nice warm glow to it; on psychs you can freak out and get paranoid.
On higher doses you can completely lose yourself in the trip, the hallucinations can overwhelm your reality to where you don't know what is what anymore.
LSD is an awesome drug but I recommend starting with something less life-altering as it can really change your perspective. LSD can permanently change your outlook...I think shrooms or 2c-e or a really strong oral cannabis trip is a better plan if you've never done psychedelics before.
Whatever you do don't make plans to leave the house and have a sitter for your first couple trips. Set and setting are *extremely* important. When you're rolling then negatives seem to fade away into the abyss, but when you're tripping darkness can pop up and overwhelm you. Might not hurt to have a valium or xanax on hand if you have anxiety issues.
Don't be scared to take psychs, just do the research and know what you're getting into...don't jump into it blindly and hope for the best.
