Hey all

I've been here a few days now and would love to get to know a few others, esp anyone that might be a fellow headache/migraine sufferer that's on certain meds for pain....but I don't care if u aren't a headache sufferer either....it'd be nice to meet people or those that take OC or the like...

There are many chronic migraine sufferers here, and a ton of people on opiates.

Hope you are enjoying Bluelight and getting what you need from the sight.

Healthy Living may also be a good sub-forum as I have been told by a senior mod that they also deal with Pain Management. There's also the Pain Management Thread. If you look at the introductory thread, they should all be there. All the word typed in blue are links to the sub-forums / threads.

@Eveleivibe, Thank you. I think you may have given me the link but I was confused as to whether I was on the right one as it wasn't called as far as I could see new members Social, but called the welcome thread or something like that....but doesn't matter I located it with all your help!
Im doing ok, saw the dr today for my migraines, got my meds for them which was good. I might go take a look at the pain management thread, thanks. :)
How are you doing anyway?
And Captain Heroin how you going?

I'm not sure if I gave you the link to Healthy Living which is also supposed to have a section on pain management as well as The Pain Management Megathread ? Sorry if I have but there's the HL link again if I did not.

Apologies. I know what I probably did wrong I think I may have given you the New Members Intro link instead. Here is the link to the New Members Introductions (NMI) Social Thread so you've got it on your thread also. I am terribly sorry I did that. I have all the links to sub-forums saved on a word document and make a few errors from time to time that I'm trying to overcome.

Thanks Evey for thinking of me. I am ok,had a lot going on with my 3 kids, school etc and we just moved(4th time in the last 6 months so I am exhausted to say the least)we moved cities so thats why we had all the moves, 1 was a short term hues stay while the people were away, s we could then take a bit of time finding something longer term as we had to just get here to start a job.

In between managing by migraines and tension headaches. I HAVE A GREAT DR WHO IS VERY UNDERSTANDING, I swapped GP's about a month ago from one who was helping me and then decided to stop helping me, I think they get nervous when prescribing certain meds...great! esp when I was taking them as prescribed but who knows, maybe she was being hauled over the coals for something as it didn't make any sense to me. I had moved interstate and its really hard finding a GP that will listen and be happy to help you with certain meds. I am sure they must deal with lots of nutters at times, I wasn't one of them but it's a matter of building trust between the 2 of you.
