Opioids Is this placebo effect or no?

Recently ive been snorting my 15mg morphine, ive read many threads about what roa is the best so ive been wondering if the high ive been getting is placebo or not. To snort i suck the coating off the pill and smash it and scrape it down with a knife untill its all dust. I feel the effects 5-15 mins after a couple lines and i actaully feel unlike oral morphine. Is this placebo? Thanks for the responses

15mg of morphine (unless it's IV'd) isn't gonna do much for you unless you have virtually no tolerance to opiates.

I have hundreds of them i snort 4-5 in a session do you guys think this placebo effect?

Snorting morphine can work fine, it all depends on how much you snort and what your tolerance is. I think nasal bioavailabilty is lower than oral but it will probably affect you faster via nasal. With nasal you might feel it stronger at first but it probably won't last as long as oral.

I doubt it's placebo, morphine is absorbed nasally, just not very well.

Maybe some of it is placebo, but not likely all of it. Morphine is very poorly absorbed through your epithelial membranes in your nose.

I would recommend you stick to oral or rectal dosing, even with a decent tolerance I could feel 15-30mg morphine rectally.
