Ok so I've never previously dabbled in drugs apart from cannabis, very mild stuff... I went out for the weekend just getting drunk, my friend had came down to cheer me up & get drunk as I've had a lot of stuff going on with a parent dying etc... whilst out I was offered e pills, I don't know much about them at all, & know it was stupid & lacked any kind of planning.. but I was feeling pretty reckless (I would never ever take them in my right mind) & was already very drunk so thought what the heck, as the girl assured me I'd be fine, I took 2 pills.. that was sunday night, it's saturday so I'm still suffering very bad side effects from the E's.

Every single day has been torture with horrible dizzy spells I've not really been able to get out of bed, my vision is blurred & Im dizzy ALL the time. I went to the hospital tuesday & my blood tests etc were all fine & they said the dizzy/lightheadedness is due to tiredness as I hadnt slept since at that point.. but everyday since then Ive had a good nights sleep, been taking vitamins , orange juice, eating very good but the constant dizzyness is getting too much to the point I just break down & feel totally paralysed.. I just hope I dont have something permenant from these drugs and a lot of spirits combined? Im really worried

Have any of you ever experienced anything like this, did it get better?
Apologies this is totally incoherent but Im terrified things won't ever get better & ive caused myself damage from one night. :(

What you took was likely NOT MDMA. A majority of pills these days are adulterated with some very nasty drugs, and that is especially true for random pills you get off a "friend".

This is just a bad comedown from some bad pills though, it's certainly not permanent. Just give it some time, you'll be back to your old self in no time. Some of the adulterants in "ecstasy", ESPECIALLY piperazines, can make you feel absolutely awful for days.. that's relatively normal for them, but NOT normal for MDMA. If you do ever decide to try and roll again, make ABSOLUTELY SURE that you test your pills with a Reagent Testing kit. It's the only way to know if what you are taking is the love drug that makes you want to hug everyone you meet, or a nasty methamphetamine/piperazine/"bath salt" pill that will leave you agitated and feeling off for days.

Again though, don't worry. It will pass soon enough. You may take a look into the MDMA comedown support thread for some additional encouragement.

yea a bad comedown can be very rough luckily i have never had one that lasted more then 2 or 3 days at max. just take some time to relax and lay around the house thats what i did it kind of relaxed me, i remember i had to go food shopping the one day and felt like i was going to die. i know you said you normally would never do it but if you ever do again i wouldent after dealing with something like a death in the family that could be very hard on your emotions because they are all just amplified while under the influence and could be very hard to handle. good luck

I'm sorry for your loss. :( :hugs:

Maybe take some magnesium before you sleep to help you sleep better. Eat healthy, exercise. It's been over a week so I'm not sure if 5-htp would help. But maybe try that? Or better yet, eat some turkey and dark chocolate!

Thanks guys. You're right, you never know what you're taking, I was assured that it was an E pill but who knows... I've been to the hospital & they are saying it's nothing to do with the tablet at all, & that it would have been out of my system within a few hours but these problems have been happening ever since. It's been 7 days & I just want to feel normal again. :|

This seems normal. I always take tested MDMA but I get these symptoms when its combined with large amounts of alcohol. Which is something I did frequently (and stupidly) in the past. I had dizzy spells and headaches for over a week one of the times. You say you was already very drunk when you took them so this is what I believe the problem is.

It is out of your system, but the inbalance of neurochemicals that it caused in your brain is still trying to work itself out. Just give it some more time, if it's been 7 days you shouldn't have long now :)

As everyone said, you most likely didn't take MDMA. But, I have learned the hard way not to roll when my mind isn't in a good place. For some reason rolling while depressed for me always equals a bad come down and the overall experience is just not as gratifying as if I roll when already happy in life. So sorry for your loss.

I recovered very well in the end, only took a month :) might be helpful to others that can get in this situation!

Hello onetime.

Cheers for the update its always nice when people take the time out to report recovery as well as suffering.

Certainly a lucky escape for you.

The only word of caution I would say is dont necessarily assume MDMA was not to blame. It might have been the mix of alcohol, it might have been some kind of coctail, it might not have been MDMA at all.

Either way we will never know. What we do know is that you are sensitive to certain drugs or combinations and if you do decide to take MDMA again then approach with caution. Test product, dont mix with alcohol and start with a low dose and see how you get on.

There are currently users on the forum who have triggered problems with MDMA, some with MDMA + alcohol, some with coctails and some with unknown substance.

The key here is dont make assumptions.

Yeah it could be caused because you were already drunk when you took them plus your stte of mind may have influenced them also in some aspects. MDMA 'hangovers' can last for days to weeks normally (for me I don't seem to get them) but with pills they are known to be cut with different substances which could be anything (harmful or not so harmful such as caffein). people react differently to drugs asnobody has the same genetic makeup and your diet, body type etc may also effect how you deal with the side effects. ifyou ever end up doing it again (which you have already said you wont, but just in case) excercise and fresh air always helps, no matter how crap you feel!

yeh sometimes spirits and pills aint a good mix, ive seen it mess some people up within a night,
but yeh keep drinking stuff with vitimins in and keep your sugar levels up, ul be find, the dizzyness just sounds like a bad comedown.
inles you was given bad drugs.. hopefully not :3 x

but if anything else bad you feel happens, contact your doctor again even if you think its possibly nothing or just curious.
