RCs Is this Normal? To sign and show ID for delivery?

About to order RC's from a place that is supposedly legit here in the states and stopped filling out at as soon as I got to the part that said you will have to sign and show your ID to pick up your package. I've just never see that before. Has anyone else? Is that normal for some places?
 
It depends on the method of shipping. Some certified/next day services require it. If everything is really legit and above board then you shouldn't need to freak out about signing for a package, now would you? They may also have it in place as a deterrent to stop youngins from ordering Party Powderz to their mommy's inbox.

You could always ask the people to ship it alternately?

I think this is really close to vendor discussion so it's gonna get closed...
