Is this legal? Not Being Scripted Benzo's.l

It's been over 2 months since I first went to the doc's an told them I'm suicidal and dependent on benzo's. I got "We'll only prescribe a max of 40mg diazepam." and was told to reduce myself to the equivalent and in the mean time if I ran out go to A&E. :\

I'm down to 1.5mg a day or pyro' but ffs measuring that amount of twating powder and being skint and not having a local source all I keep coming back to when I think ofrunning out is, fuck it.

Do Gabapentin stop benzo' withdrawl cause I can get that shite?

40mg of diazepam is the highest dose that they will prescribe these days , it's in the NICE guidlines .

This is the problem with illicit benzo use , i feel sympathy for ya i really do but i been on de,m for 20 years n back them you could get well i could 120mg of diazepam a day which is just fukin ridiculous .

I knew this was gonna happen with folk using illicit benzo's .

I'm not being condescending to ya mate . Just i was waiting for a post like this was inevitable .

In the mean time i wish you all the luck you can get .

What the fuck do epileptic's do or is 40mg pushing it for a seizure?

If only it was out-right legalisation and not semi-legal high bullshit I'd nip to the Off-Prescription buy a poket full of blues and a roofie dib-dab for 10p.
 
Terrible thing to be hooked on - I was taking etiz for a few weeks and came off them and felt the worst I've ever felt in my life. Perhaps give another doctor a try? Or ask to be referred to a hospital doc?

Clonazepam is the only benzo licensed for epilepsy in the England . I 'm sorry if i came across nasty mate . Thems the facts .

ffs do you think i'm happy that i have been on em 20 years ? I was scripted diazepam after an od when i was 18 didn't even know what they were been on a myriad of benzo's ever since caused me untold grief .

Cause I wasn't allowed it as I was on the equivalent of 60mg diazepam. I had to prove I could reduce to at least to 40mg and then I'd be put on a reduction programme.
