I don't know about conversion just by heat, but know that conversion by heat+zeolite works well.

Yes, I have, it's quite easy, cheap and effective.

Btw info on that link is wrong, conversion rate with zeolite is much higher than 10%.

It's far safer and easier using an acid like citric, acetic or tartaric.

...make my own THC via CBD isolate + concentrated lemon juice. Lemon juice is food-grade, citric acid does the conversion job very well (see isomerisation) and CBD isolate is cheap & OTC.

I wrote safer because zeolite is usually micronised which means it's been finely powdered. This unfortunately liberates heavy metals. With acids you simply add bicarbonate which reliably removes it.
