Your right, I think I did go wrong by missing my morning gabapentin dose. I just can't believe how well gabapentin works for benzo withdrawal. Everything I read suggests it helps withdrawals some but not greatly. In my experience, it's been incredible. I can't believe more people don't take gabapentin for benzo withdrawal.I think skipping your morning dose of Gabapentin is where you went wrong.Feeling a bit spacey and having stomach issues can be part of Xanax withdrawal,so it's important you keep your Gabapentin doses regular right now.
It sounds like you're still freaking out about having major withdrawals at work,so it's probably best to leave your first day Xanax free 'til the weekend.Make sure you have some stomach meds to help with that issue and try and get some extra sleep to allow your body to repair itself. And stop worrying!![]()
I think I will wait till this weekend to jump off Xanax completely. The good news is, I still SLIGHTLY feel it when I take that tiny daily dose if Xanax...only 0.06-0.1 mgs..so small it's hard to measure. Hopefully that means I'm not very physically dependent and my withdrawal won't be too bad.
Once I quit completely, if I do get withdrawals, how long should I expect them to last? Am I looking at a day, 2 days, a week...longer?
Thanks again for all your help. ;-)
