Heres the background info, skip beneath it for my question if you dont want to read this:

I first started using opiates in the fall of 2008. Started with lortab 7.5/500s. First few times I took two of them, then I took 3 of them the next time. On 22.5 mgs of hydro, with no tolerance and a body weight of 130, I was fucked up. I really enjoyed the feeling, although I can attribute some of the experience to dehydration. After leaving opiates alone for a little bit I came across oxycontin in late december. I began using oxycontin around December 30th, 2008. My first large dose of oxy, since people wouldnt blow me out on a lot, was 45mg. I chewed half a 30 and railed 30. At this time, this amount of oxy had me nodding out really good, even when I was eating my girlfriend out I would nod like every so often. I began using oxy a lot, increasing my doses little by little every time. I stopped using oxy after Friday, february 13th and at that point I took 90mg which was the most I took during that binge/time period. At that point I had used oxys every day that week and perhaps even a few days into the previous week. I can't remember, but I know I did them at least every day that week. Could have been doing them every day for a bit longer though... I went through some withdrawals, nothing too unbearable as I never really threw up on the oxys. Lost my apetite for a couple days after I stopped, kinda felt like I had the flu but didn't throw up. Cold sweats, anxiety. But, it didn't last too long and I was able to stay sober until about 3 weeks ago. 3 Sundays ago, on March 22nd I ingested 12.5 vicodin 5/500s in a night. I did not feel nearly as fucked up as I wanted to feel, expecting my tolerance to be at 0 again. So, about a week and half passes, it is Wednesday april 1st. I scored an OC/80 and railed it all that night. I got pretty fucked up, however I did not nod out and the experience did not compare to my first time using oxy. That friday, april 3rd, I had enough money to spend on 1/2 an OC/80 so I did 40mg. This, as expected, did not do much for me at all. This past monday, april 6th, I railed a 30mg oxy in the middle of the day and then scored 2 OC/40s which I took between around 9pm-3am, making my dose 110mg. I did not come off this until some time tuesday afternoon. Yesterday, wednesday the 8th, I was having some anxiety and was having the worst uncontrollable cold sweats. At the same time, I was fiending for oxy but didn't make the connection. After getting an M596 80mg generic last night and blowing some, the sweating stopped.

My question is this:

Is it possible that my tolerance did not go to baseline, or is taking such large doses every time I've do oxy now causing my tolerance to skyrocket? Is it possible for me to have mild cold sweat withdrawals this early after using again? Thanks!

if youre using 80mg at a time then im guessing youll have decent withdrawals.

Everyone is different, but honestly, youre either going to go into withdrawals or not. Asking us if you are isnt going to change anything.

For future reference, it first takes roughly 2-4 weeks to become physically dependent. After that, anytime you stop and then start again it can take only a week, sometimes even a couple days to become physically dependent once again. Keep in mind that opiates are the MOST powerfully addicting substances on this planet (along with benzos).

But again, everyones body works differently. Try not to think about it so much.

Yes, using large dose of Oxy has definitely make your tolerance skyrocket. The problem is that you started with too much and you increased the dose alot too fast. And for the withdrawal, Bigger the dose is, The more you risk to experience withdrawal, so this is not uncommon that you experience mild withdrawal symptoms.

HighOnOpiates :)

Yes, you need to take a signifcant break.....and even then your tolerance will never go back to baseline (I wish that it would! :) )

ive only done OxyContin for about month to a month 1/2 and im having really bad withdrawals so it is very possible you are going through withdrawal

yes you are definitely experiencing opiate withdrawal. If your going to continue using pills i would recommend only using for a day or two at a time and taking at least week long breaks in between to both avoid becoming addicted and experiencig withdrawal wich go hand in hand of course. I say this out of very recent experience.

if your gonna dance with the devil be prepared to be burned.
