Is this a safe combo

In your opinion, if i took 15ml tussionex susp and 25mg promethazine about 4 hours ago, would i be able to have 3 glasses of wine or so without dying?

I think it's generally best not to mix CNS depressants such as tussionex with alcohol as it could lead to respiratory depression.

I don't know if that is a low dose of prometh or what, but if your going to have to drink just don't have 3 glasses. 1 is enough

Just remember Tussionex already contains an anti-histamine of its own, chlorpheniramine, so the promethazine will just add to the anti-histamine effect, and the other shared effects such as the anti-chollergnic effects. Adding promethzine for next time is not necessary for Tussionex enjoyment. I would not combine alcohol with an opiate and two sedating anti-histamines, myself, as it is dangerous - even at the doses you are talking about, potentially.
