is there still a rave scene in chicago?

im relatively new to the area and have been getting into the rave scene but have yet to find any sort of rave near chicago...im actually closer to rockford but am doubtful theres anything there either...im just curious as to whether there is still a scene around town in chicago....and no i dont mean going to a club...an actual rave scene. im lost

There's legitimate raves each and every weekend in the city. Promotion is usually done through social networking sites such as facebook. Rockford and Chicago aren't too distant for a good night/weekend(if you know people) out.

If you're able to interact with the right people then yes, delicious. Keep in mind there's also a lott of bunk. (like at just about any rave)
